bruising question
ad
Sorry if I missed the answer in another topic I did search. Not worried at all just wondering if my technique is off.
So I have been pinning test e and prop in alternating sites. When I pin my quads with e or prop I sometimes get bruising but not at the injection site. Heat up the oil, I have no fear of pinning so can dart it right in. Maybe a minute to inject. Seems all good. But later that day sometimes I notice a new bruise down close to my knee or maybe 6 inches or so from injection site. Pip is fairly minimal. Once after a glute injection had a bruise down by my hamstring.
Any suggestions? Only ask cause people keep asking dam what did you hit your leg on cause they are the ugly yellowish purple bruises.

One time I pinned my delt and got what appeared to be a bruise. Odd thing was, it spread to about the size of my hand and started migrating down my arm like some strange ameba. It ended up on the inside of my elbow and forearm.
It too was a yellowish color, like a bruise that has almost healed. No pain, no discomfort, no inflammation.
I figured I must have missed, or partly missed, the muscle and what I was seeing was the oil slowly migrate, sub-Q, down my arm.
I'm probably wrong, but heck, the thought calmed me down. the "bruise" disappeared within a week.
On top of all the other advice I will guarantee you that your potassium levels are low which tends to be a problem when flushing your system with a lot of water drinking. You can get potassium gluconate at Walmart etc for a few dollars. Well worth the investment for many reasons.
Moving this to general discussion
Thanks for the tips..... @Rustyhooker you said something and now I think im an idiot. I work at a computer and the glare has always given me headaches and I got into the habit of downing a goodies headache powder at work cause they have them out on the admin desk area. Full of asprin which thins the blood.....such a bad habit I dont even think about it.
RustyhookerHonestly.....only an idiot would NOT reach out and ask.
You came, you learned, and you can help anither in the future! High five!
It's blood running up from the site (quads) lots of vessels and it running up into the sub q later of tissue! Immediately after pulling the pin out of the site, press firmly for 60secs with your thumb on the site!
Gatorgear
RustyhookerBruising at odd spots. Unless your using blood thinners...you're just weirding out. Relax.
If using prop i hope you got 6points of injection.....
ya basically it seems simple..... so not sure if there is some minor detail i am missing or coudl do better.
basically i run the vial under hot water while im shaving getting ready etc.. i sit on the edge of my bed. Rip open both sides of alcohol pad packages(2) and open to make like a clean surface for swapping needles. I clean the top of the vial then clean then use another pad to clean the site. Open new packages, pop on an 18g needle on to draw. Then put the 25g 1.5 inch back on. Hold it like im throwing a dart and pop it right in. Pull back with other hand to aspirate then slowly inject. Have noticed once or twice with the prop a litle oil leak right when i first start injecting but am tryign to be more aware of going slow. But i cant say if that was one of the days or not that i had the bruising been more days than that. Bruising really doesnt bother me i was only wondering about it being not at injection site???
My first thought was infection, but you seem really through. I would propbably rule that out. Ive never experienced this before, so im clueless. Hopefully someone will come around who can help. Sorry i couldnt be more help bro.
Are you wiping off your bottles with alcohol pads, drawing with one needle, then switching the needle out before you inject?
