-1 Blood work and elevated Red Blood Cell Count.

ad

Just had labs done to check bloodwork on a couple items. My Dr. noticed my red blood cell count was greatly elevated which in the long term can lead to such things as stroke or Heart attack. Anyone with this experience before?

oh yeah. I had the high hemato too. Same thing ran gear steady for years. I was told i had primary polycythemia. Well it was secondary. I tappered my dose down to 80mg of test a week for 4 months and then stopped all exogenous hormones for 3yrs. Rbc came back in range for me after 4 month tapper and 4 month off.
This can be avioded by donating, hydration, and keeping cycles shorter followed by pct. If your trt or blast and cruise, then donation is a must.

Take a break.

Next time...get blood work done regular and donate!

Fyi, Some compounds are notorious for increasing rdc more so then others. Such as eq.

Take low dose aspirin to help keep your blood thin while rbc is high.

I've just had my bloods back with a very high RBC....but I donated on 20 Dec 2016.

I got my bloods back 0n the 9th Jan and had high RBC but everything else was fine.

People who live at high altitudes or endurance althaletes will have a high RBC to deliver more oxygen as needed, but hematocrit will be normal.

Keep in mind that dehydration can effect your results also it's very important to well hydrated not just for your tests but all the time....keep us informed buddy

yeah an elevated hematocrit over a long period of time can lead to a variety of problems. like others have said, donate blood regularly to stay within normal range.

What was your......

Hemoglobin levels?

Hematocrit level? <<<< this is the most important.

High red blood cell count is not dangerous, it's your Hematocrit levels that need to be addressed. If these are high in conjunction with high blood pressure then you need to donate blood.....if these levels get to high they will stop you from donating...and then I'm afraid it's a matter of self bleeding

Time to donate blood brother. And yes, as gear users we all experience it.
