+ 7 Blood Testing in NJ, NY or RI.

ad

Ok, I get a lot of qestions about blood testing and often times they are residents of one of the New England states that don't allow it. Keeping with the tradition of thumbing our noses at the rules I have now found a place that tests ONLY in 3 of the states, they are

NEW YORK
NEW JERSEY
RHODE ISLAND

The site is only for those three states and does not support any of the other 50 states. The website is:

and here are their directions to follow as noted from the link above

■First time customers will create an account. You will be able to access this account with your username and password at any time to view your lab test orders, sign HIPAA release forms, print your requisition, and view or print your results, all online.
■You will order your tests and pay DirectLabs an access fee of $24.00. Payment is made by credit card. DirectLabs accepts all major credit cards. Requisitions are non-refundable.
■Once you have placed your order, you will receive an automated confirmation email with an attached receipt.
■Within 2–4 hours, we will generate your requisition and upload it to your account. You will receive an email notifying you to log in to your account and print your requisition.
■Orders placed outside of our normal business hours will be processed the next business day.
■You must have the requisition form provided by DirectLabs prior to going to the PSC. If you are unable to print the requisition for your lab test, please call 1-800-908-0000.
■You will also receive an email with a “Phlebotomist’s Notice” that needs to accompany your requisition to the PSC.
■You will take the requisition and “Phlebotomist’s Notice” to the PSC and pay them directly for your lab tests based upon their Easy Pay Fee schedule. This is a discounted fee schedule specifically for cash paying customers.
■The amount you will pay the PSC is the cost of the tests PLUS a $10 draw fee.
■If you would like a copy of your lab test results sent to your Healthcare Provider, you must log into your account and complete the online HIPAA form.
