blood pressure remedy help - dosage?!

ad

okay so ive seen so much conflicting opinions and information on the dosing of herbal otc stuff that can help with blood pressure issues, but most of the time i dont even see any dosages! people share what helps them, but not how much...

i took my bp last saturday and was at 158/87, even higher than last time. im 15 weeks into my 2nd cycle of test e 600mg wk and EQ 600mg wk, only have one pin of EQ left btw so only another 3 weeks left of my cycle. im 28 years old, 6'1" and 210lbs. ive been taking 3 tbsp of apple cider vinegar for about 6 weeks now, and it clearly isnt enough.

i know a big part of the problem is my lack of high intensity cardio, however i am constantly moving at work (construction) and decided to start takin my daughter for a walk every night - definitly not high intensity but its a start and i think should help.

what im really wondering though is how much of what supplements do you brothas take to help keep your bp in check? specifically how much;

fish oil
hawthorne berry
COq10
cider vinegar
niacin?

should i be taking recommended dosages on bottles or do you guys recommend more? what do you homies dose your bp supps at?

My bp used be upwards of 165/90. Heres some simple things that has me consistently at 130/80.
1. Lots of water, we should all be doing this regardless.
2. Cut sodium back.
3. Cardio , 30-45 mins medium intensity steady state cardio 3x/wk does the trick for me.
4.Oats and Omegas daily.
5. Reduce/eliminate any unessesscary stress from your life.

For what its worth thats what seems to have worked for me.

yeah i feel ya man, high bp more or less comes with the territory when it comes to EQ and nandrolone from my understanding. so far though the herbal remedies really have been helping, call me crazy but i can even FEEL the difference! ive also heard quite a bit about donating blood being really beneficial, if it gets worse i'll make whatever time i need to so i can go donate. any thoughts on donating plasma? i dont think that would help rbc count though ...

definitly can, theres a plasma center not far from my house that hooks it up - its kinda in the hood, lots of rockheads go there but whatev. you can donate twice a week and get $60 or $70 a week, i cant remember which tho. donating blood is only once every 2 months but a lot faster ... plasma takes up to 2 hrs sometimes. trick is to take low dose aspirin before you go in, it thins the blood and fills the machine faster so it can filter out the plasma quicker.

thing is though, i dont know whether or not it has any benefit to us as AAS users, specifically where blood pressure levels are concerned

Try some or all of the following suggestions:

Do not use the "flush free" niacin as it does not have the cardio benefits you're seeking. It can also be hard on the liver so stay within recommended doses.

Drink plenty of water (over a gallon per day) and get plenty of rest (at least 7 hours at night).
Up your cardio... Turn your walks into a power walk.
Beet juice(liquid or powder) has been working for me. (2 tablespoons powder per day)
Eliminate salt as much as you can.
Stop drinking alcohol
Up your potassium to 4,000 mg a day, eat sweet potatoes, bananas, kidney beans.
Take about 3 grams of fish oil per day.
Eat 1/2 ounce of 70% (or better) dark chocolate per day.
60 to 100 mg CoQ10 3X per day. (Can be pricey)
Drink 3 cups of a hibiscus tea per day.
Meditate, breathe deeply. Laugh.

awesome, thanks for the help my man. im on it with water, easily drinking a gallon and a half a day but i definitly need to try gettng more sleep at night. i leave for work really early in the morning and have a needy ass wife with 2 little kids so i dont usually get to bed as early as id like. on average i get about 6 hours a night :/

to season all my food i got a bunch of mrs. dash varities, all sodium free, so that will hands down help me reduce my sodium intake. i havent had a drop of alcohol since 2008 so thanifully i dont gotta worry about that! i definitly gotta work on gettng more potassium in my diet though, could i supplement it or is that something that needs to be through food rather than a pill? i know food sources are always better, and its easy as hell to eat bananas for example, just wondering what ya think.

i started taking 1200mgs of fish oil 2x a day and 200mgs coq10 2x a day as well, probably wont add the niacin in though unless all elase fails. id rather not take any more pills than i have to if its something i can get under control through higher intensity cardio for example.

thanks again greg, really appreciate it homie!
