+ 1 Blood Donation

ad

Well after being denied 5x in a row due to me heart rate being to fast I was finally and to donate. I quit taking my shot for a few weeks in hopes that would help. Anybody else have this problem? My doctor put me on metoprolol to help with my blood pressure and heart rate. I took it an hour before I went to donate and my numbers were flawless. I was on amlodapine and my BP and heart rate stayed high. Here's a Pic of my BP 3 hours after new meds.

Plus one as this donation may very well wind up saving a child’s life, good for you bro. As far as the heart rate, there’s so many factors that come into play. ITC stimulants, diet, just carrying more weight than your body was meant for can cause issues. Do some more research and have some conversations with a GOOD physician, you may be surprised just how different we all are and our systems run differently, not everything needs a drug thrown at it.

I hear a lot of positive results with telmisartan and nebivolol. Never really heard of guys having negative sides or anything major and tons of bodybuilders use those 2

Either of those are a great options. Both have benefits beyond blood pressure control. Trying to figure out how to get my doctor to prescribe me telmisartan when I have my yearly physical next month when I have relatively normal blood pressure lol.
