ad

How long after a rhinoplasty surgery can you get back to lifting?
Failed to ask my DR and The next session is in 2 weeks.

My bro had done rhinoplasty a year ago from Toronto. He was strictly told by his doctor, Dr. Philip Solomon not to go to the gym for 3 weeks( http://www.rhinoplasty.ca/rhinoplasty-surgery/rhinoplasty-post-operation/ ). The doctor asked him to do light exercise after 3 weeks and then slowly he could do all sorts of exercise he used to do. He also added that there will be slight swelling at the beginning as the result of blood flow to nasal area. The healing time for each person is different. So I think it's better you could ask your doctor about this in details.

Bro, lifting makes your blood pressure skyrocket. You don't want no dang nose bleeds. Please get with your doc on this unless someone here is a MD.

My bud had that kind of surgery - years ago. Seemed like he was bleeding daily for weeks. Maybe nowadays not such a bloody mess? Honestly, though, I would still try to get with your doc for a medical clearance before heading back to the gym. If it were me, I'd be right back like ASAP, probably rupture some blood vessels that were still healing and make a mess of everything. I just know I wouldn't do the right thing.
