I see a lot of guys asking for stats before they will give any advice,(which is the right thing to do.) We also tell people to do some research before starting a cycle, but we who are giving advice need to do a little research ourselves. If stats are not given I go to their home page and 90% of the time their stats are there. So before you ask for stats do some research yourself and check out their home page. If their stats aren't there then they are shit our of luck for advice.

GearofWarI advocate the idea of making users fill out their profiles. BFG should make it mandatory. Whether users fill their profile with bullshit info, is up to them, but I feel that making users enter info into their profile is a good play. I think it would make users feel more invested in the site and eroids community in addition to being helpful in assisting users to give statistically informed advice. My .02.
It looks like a good idea but not one that can be accurately enforced or verified do to the fact that once people are forced to put stats, many who don't want to will lie about them. The other side of it is many don't want to give out accurate info do to the LE issue. When a crime is committed the first thing LE does is ask for a physical description HT, WT, etc. But I do agree with the principle, I personally would not give advice without someone giving stats but again who knows who is being honest.
GearofWarI agree 110% on the LE issues. But as far as faking stats and whatnot, if people want accurate and honest answers it would be to their own benefit to provide at least, basic yet accurate info relevant to AAS usage. For example, I've filled out my basic stats, and have hopefully included some additional information in my profile that may be pertinent to any AAS issues or questions I may ask advice on. I guess what I'm trying to get at is if people want good answers then provide accurate info as it pertains to you. If you provide bullshit info, you run the risk of receiving a bullshit answer or bunk advice that may be good for the fictitious info you've provided, but not for your real body type.
I agree with you completely on the stats issue. I am only saying if it was mandatory people would even though completely stupid and irrational lie just to be able to stay on the board. Lets face it there is no shortage of morons today. But I am 100% in agreement!
CleyonAgreed, probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have an automated message sent to each user every 30days to remind them to update theirs stats.
CleyonWhile I agree, I also believe that the person wanting help will have read a million "Stats?" posts before if they've done their research and clued into the fact that they should state them upfront. Also there are people who have been on the boards for a while, I call them registered lurkers, who have not asked for help before, but have been training. If they haven't updated their stats since they signed up, then they sure as heck should have changed.

I think that advice should not be witheld. Stats can certainly add a missing piece to the puzzle, but sometimes guys are just freaked out about something and quick re assurance is what they need, then when they calm down they can go research.
It all depends, I mean if a guy just wants cycle advice, sure you need those stats, but if you see a guy is clearly already in deep shit because hes lactating then first aid is the way to go.

And yes I often go click on a profile so at the very least I know their age.
