what about coming up with a way to stop any joe from opening a web sight and calling themselves a source

Frankly that's not our job here - as a review site. YOU guys vote these Joes up to top, and when they can't handle the pressure, they start making mistakes, go nuts, get busted whatever.
A lot of that can be attributed to the fact that these guys don't know first thing about conducting illegal business online.
Sure they're all charming, they all overdose their gear (lol), maybe put a little anti-freeze in the mix, make that shit glow green... cute, really cute.

But when it comes down to handling 100 orders per day, which means answering 500 emails, issuing tracking numbers, picking up money, sending out bonbons.. all while fucking their wifes, beating up their ill behaved kids, checking reviews and begging for upvotes on eroids.
It's not a one man job.
You need your system automated, a website that can handle emails like "Your order was shipped today, TN swole-xw3fsfdg34t5345". A website that can keep track of your stock and your orders, pending, shipped, re-shipped.
You need your system secured. It's calming when you know all you need to do is turn your computer off if the cops bust in, because your whole hard drive is encrypted (no Joe, "encryption" is not a test ester). Your webserver is encrypted, you're not keeping any logs on it.
I'm talking out of my ass here, but i imagine things like that could help a worring man, so he can focus on bring my products in?

As I've said, it's not our job here. But we are trying to bring the quality up.
We've stopped taking in no-website "sources". We've stopped taking in "sources" that host their websites on blogspot, weebs and other free hosting solutions.
Maybe it's time for a new rule.

You have to consider the product they are selling.
In a normal bussiness situation (and this is NOT one), filling out a credit app, a credit report, a BBB report and such might be in order.
None of that is going to happen.
As you said you have been here 6 months, so have I. In that 6 months only 4 of the top 11 on the big board were here when I joined, of that 4, 3 or Non-US based and one is domestic, one other has reinvented themselves. This is not a bussiness where sources stay for years if they are domestic. (As i said in a different post) When the source finds the smell of pigs getting to strong and the heat getting to much , they close up shop and head to the beach for a long vacation to cool off in the water and and wash off the stench of pork and donuts. "Some kind of point system or something before they can post"........ I understand what you're saying but how could they get those points without having first done some kind of busines. As far as I can tell they do pretty much everything they can within reason to weed out the "any joe" small time rip off guys but there is only so much they can do. A lot of it is us eroiders ourselves. Ive seen many sources get bad review after bad review and people read those reviews and STILL order from the source. A shame we have scammers but thats a part of life that will never change no matter what precautions are taken, especially dealing in illegal activity.
