Anavar and Sarcoidosis

My father has been diagnosed with Sarcoidosis. He already has Central Serous Choreoretinopathy. The CSC is made worse by cortisol and the Sarcoidisis is only controlled by corticosteroids. To the point, do you all think that a low dosage of Anavar would be a safe way to control the cortisol levels so that he doesn't go blind? Any input would be appreciated. I'm sure I left out something that would be helpful to know. Just tell me what other info I need to include and I'll be happy to do it. Thank you

cdaddy7Correct dossier...I truly believe in that correlation and the pathophysiology as well....I feel that the Anabolic properties of anavar will def reduce the Cortisol levels....however to say it will probably delay the blinding progression but to say it will stop it altogether is a long stretch...I know what ur going thru bc i watched my father start losing his eyesight bc of macular degeneration related to diabetes....it was years until he was completely blind...he literally spent a million dollars in eye surgeries and treatments in Houston, Tx to save his eyes but couldn't.....now i def would consider the option of slowing the process and the HGH itself may stand to help the sarcoidosis itself bc it regenerated and speeds recovery of tissues so u know the same properties will go with the immune system.....I do know that sarcoidosis is resolving and so many years down the way It's remnants are untraceable in xrays...the problem is that if he is on corticosteroids and u add anavar which is an anabolic u not goin to do much good bc they counteract each other....one is catabolic and the other is anabolic....

cdaddy7I appreciate that...my father fought a good fight with his eyes and had a battle with sarcoma cancer....he fought hard and he passed in April this year....it was hard to watch my father go bc we were close but I know he's in a better place now....enjoy ur time with ur father....ur a good son for wanting the best for him....I hope all works out for him and i wish the best for u both

Thanks you for the detailed response. I understand that it will not stop, but the corticosteroids are what cause his macular to leak. He is on a very low dose (5mg) of pred. I've ran a few cycles over the past few years and posess a small amount of knowledge from couple of hundred hours of research and eroids reading. I figured that it wouldn't hurt to ask for advice. Thank you for your response. It has truly helped send me in a more informed direction. I want to be totally sure that I don't advise something to him that could set him back. Just hard seeing someone that was always so athletic and invincible get knocked down by something as aggressive as Sarcoi
Thats why i asked the op if he was on corticos currently...negation. Remember a while back guy wanted joint relief so added deca which lowers Cortisol. Then came back in severe pain because doc pinned his joints with cortizone. So his pain relief was negated. Deca lowers Cortisol but at which dose for relief??
cdaddy7Most claim a low dose of Deca at 100mg seems to give joint relief, but it think def if corticos are involved then It's negated as u said...
He is on 5mg of Pred a day. Was looking for something mild that he wouldn't have to risk an increased Cort level if his PCT wasn't perfect.

He takes Aminos and Vitamins daily, but I will be sure to tell him to increase his Vitamin C intake. Thanks bro
AnonAnavar is still new to me brother. What I can tell you about though is one of the benefits of growth hormone. I am in the process of wrtiting a thread dedicated to my findings on the relationships between gh and the stress hormones and serotonin.
In summary, cortisol drives gh at the natty production level. Too much cortisol hinders production, while moderate cortisol promotes increased levels of the hormone. Now, gh has a direct relationship with the neurotransmitter Serotonin. Serotonin is an antagonist to cortisol; therefore, as serotonin levels rise, cortisol is suppressed. Because gh has a direct relationship to serotonin, as serum levels increase so to does the levels of serotonin. This is homeostasis at work here.
Gh has numerous benefits here.. This is only one. In a nutshell, administration of exogenous gh will have a counter effect on cortisol. Hope this is helpful. +1 from me for devoting this to your father and his well being.

He is down to 5mg a day of prednisone. It has been as high as 20, but he was having optical injections to remove fluid that was clouding his sight and causing permanent damage to his eye. Each injection damages his eyesight a little more
