anavar and methotrexate
ad
hi,
well I just started an anavar only cycle almost 2 weeks ago and had to see the docs on an unrelated note to do with some inflammation. They made me take a full blood test and want to put me on methotrexate. (2.5mg tomorrow)
my concern is, will they see abnormal liver levels because of the var? And should I take the var separately from the methotrexate?
currently taking:
50mg anavar ED (for 8 weeks)
2 tablets of liv.52 DS ED
10g creatine mono ED
multi ED
thanks in advance for any advice

thebadguyFirst, you didnt say what condition the methotrexate was prescribed for (Inflamation where? Colon, skin, Lungs ?).Nevertheless, I would stop everything including the liv.52 . I would also ask the prescribing physician if taking a multivitamin is a good idea since MTX inhibits the formation of folate. (Multivitamins contain folate so you are counteracting the MTX somewhat). After you are on the MTX awhile and see how it affects you maybe then you could start the creatine. But MTX is cytotoxic (IT kills human cells) and has numerous side effects including hairloss, N/v to name a few. It is metabolized by your liver and then excreted by your kidneys. Creatine (I may be wrong on this) can tax the kidneys. Many liver supplements are actually harmful to the liver. Hope that helps.

I don't know a thing about methotrexate, but if your doctor put on it, then TAKE IT. I would drop the var and take the metho-shit. You can go with var lately (bad idea var only...).
In the other hand, I would be more worried for my lipids fucked up by anavar. Just make a google search and you'll find out how harsh is anavar on lipids.
Good look.
-repost sorry-
been exactly 11 days. Should I ditch and start PCT tomorrow? Clomid 50mg ED for 2 weeks ok? Much appreciated guys
knuckle-headI would at very LEAST add Nolva 20mg a day for two weeks it's not the exact same as the nolva
Good call
knuckle-headThanks learning from you carneal ! Thought I'd try to help like you guys i personally think pct is a must and must be complete
I think that would be your best bet . Since you have only been on 11 days i think 2 weeks pct will be sufficient
I agree I shouldn't have but I just want to see this cycle through to the end and am just concerned about the blood work results and co-administration of methotrexate(which I believe is damaging to the liver and generally cytotoxic0
knuckle-headAnd NO ONE will give u advice without knowing
Age
Weight
Height
Number of cycles
Diet
And experience in the gym
Taking 50mg of anavar a day might give a tiny boost but you will lose it all
knuckle-headYour so worried abt the drug the dr is giving you but the anavar is what you should be worried abt this isn't supplements man you can't just jump into these things u need to get some Nolva and clomid take those for a few weeks while studying testosterone only cycles read the stickys in each of the forums before you do anything ELSE to YOUR BODY...
Im sure anavar will effect it somewhat and dont finish this thing you call a cycle drop it and pct and research for a while so you can do a cycle thats worth your time

Why would you even think anavar only cycle is a good idea. Wait till week 4 or so when your test levels are in the crapper and you feel less than human
