Acne on cycle...what really works?
ad
Ok so I know a lot of us deal with this. Acne on the back and chest while on cycle. Summers right around the corner and I don't bust my ass in the gym and diet my ass off just to reveal a jacked ripped body riddled with acne. So what really works?

MakaveliCD7Alex and Aromasin are good at low doses....if u don't have it try nizoral shampoo and use it like a body wash on the blemished areas....I personally have used Aromasin and nizoral together with great success
Can you recommend a good place to buy nizoral or generic?
MakaveliCD7U can find nizoral at Walmart, walgreens, or cvs pharmacy....its only 1% as compared to prescription that is 2% but the otc nizoral that is 1% will do the trick
LarsenZINK pills helps alot for me but do not take too much that would make it even worse:)
I've been hearing some great things about nizoral shampoo for hormonal acne. How does this compare to other options? Is this still considered a good option? Can anyone recommend where to buy a generic formulation (ketoconazole 2%).
if your on your way down, you are out of luck. as your levels drop, your acne will flare. more acne usually happens after a cycle or at the very beginning. The sebaceous glands act up when hormone levels are unstable and fluctuate. while in the middle of the run, the levels should be even and skin should be nice and clear.
Your only option now is to get a wash with Salicylic acid and/or benzoyl peroxide, change your sheets often, and ride it out
Me personally tanning and regular showering works great. Also trying to keep your hormone levels stable are a great way to prevent acne. The only time I got any kind of chest acne was coming off a 16 week sust cycle and as my levels were dropping my body was popping up zits in the weirdest places.
Also benzoyl peroxide gel works great. Walgreens, target, CVS brand etc are all great and really work well for spot treatment. It's my #1 acne fighter when I encounter a zit.

Well, I was on NPP with letro and caber. And had lots of pimples on my upper arms and back. Including my biceps, which left scars that are still there a couple months later. And one humongous cystic acne. Is this likely due to the progestin nature of the npp? I am about to start a new npp/test e cycle and am researching trying to find the best 'preventative' measure for the acne. I have retin-a, differin, and tazorac. Also, might a topical antibiotic plus benzoyl peroide work as a preventative?
wassup guys i got a weird technique but it works i get really bad acne on my chest from the tren doing aromasin 12.5 makes it go down but doesn't go away my grandma put me on to oatmeal and brown sugar
grind them down both with little water on a blender then apply it to the area where the acne is leave it for 10 minutes then take it off the oatmeal suck out all the oil dont leave it for more than 10 minutes cause your skin will dry out do this three times a week then you will thank me good luck
Tried this brother and the bacne is subsiding! Good advice
I'll give this a go brother. Thanks
Oatmeal and brown sugar, eh? Fuck it I just might give it a go. I'm 4 weeks removed from a tren and prop cycle, the tren definitely made the acne twice as bad so I hear u there. No water or anything to liquify the mixture?
No he said a little water to make it pasty Vanilla... I tried this for three days and my shit is going aways
in my experience here is what has helped me:
1. Control estro.
2. Shower often, as soon as possible after workouts and any other sweaty endeavors.
3. Change/clean bed sheets often so you are not basking in your own grease.
4. Tan, sunbed or good ole sun.
5. Swim, I find the chlorine keeps my skin clear as doesnsalt water, so hop in a pool or if youve got an ocean near by jump in.
Ive never had any success with any creams or lotions and I will never use accutane.
I forgot to mention seawater and pool water help keep my skin mildly dry and oil free. In combination with the sun exposure it's a huge help with fighting off body acne. Good point grimedizzle!
I've read that 12.5 mg of aromasin daily can do wonders for acne. I'm running just that as part of my PCT along with 500 mg of HCG 2x week for the last remaining 3 weeks of my 6 week bridge. Was going to run the same dose of aromasin on my next cycle throughout the course of the whole run but am still trying to find what works best for me.
Im in PCT right now also running aro at 12.5/12.5/6.25/6.25 and I am experiencing far less acne than I have gotten in PCT without aro, I think I have 3 zits on my back and one one my chest, as opposed to the acne sweater I usually end up with.
Agree, especially with #1. I usually break out at least a little but first time running aromasin this cycle and not a single zit. Controlling estro def works for me.
Well you have to try out different methods. Tanning helps. Also shower a couple times a day. Wash your back with a benzoyl peroxide wash, and face. Topical creams, benzoyl peroxide, differin, tretinoin. Also knowing that Accutane is liver toxic a low dose of 20 mg should be ok if your not taking any orals and have good liver support.
This has bed my fight so far: prescription strength Benzoyl Peroxide body wash used daily with shower for the past 3 weeks. Also started running aromasin at 12.5 mg ED to keep estrogen in check, also part of my PCT program I'm running while on a 6 week bridge for the next 3 weeks. I even tried this Nizoral shampoo that I read a thread about and worked for some kid. Still not much luck. It's gotten better but is def still an issue. The only oral I'm running at the moment is T3 at 75 mcg ED which we all know isn't an AAS. I'm leaning toward accutane but wanted to stay away from it until it was a last resort.
The Accutane should be a last resort. If you tried all other things and nothing worked then I would say give it a try, but be careful. Its very toxic shit. I know a lot of guys who run it low during there cycle and have no problems. But everyone is different. I never have run Accutane and have had this problem with acne and I hate it. Messes with my self-esteem a little. So my next cycle I am going to try the low dose method and see how it works for me.
