I'm in the same boat. First pin (ever) Sunday morning. Went in easy as butter, no pain during or directly after. Very little soreness that night and yesterday, and today I have a little sore spot where I pinned. Nothing major though. I'm sure you're fine. Just think about it, you're forcing a 1.5in needle into your muscle and pushing in some oil (test-e for me). There has to be some soreness! Read around the boards some and you will see this is very common for us newbies.

the injection procledure went exactly like your. probably also the tight for first pinning isnt the right spot, next.

Hey bud... I'm no vet, but I can tell you that I had the same problem with my first cycle and the virgin muscle. I mean the pain lasted for 5 days. I pinned 1 cc on Monday and 1 cc on Thursday evening. I rotated glutes and eventually incorporated delts. The pip was non existent by the end of the cycle. So grind it out for the next couple of months and you will be glad you did. That is what a vet told me and he was right.

just a suggestion but ive become to like using 27g insulin syringes and warming before injection to shoulders and rotate from back to front to side and worked out well for me with almost no pip, and i occasionally hit the glutes with the 1.5 big boys
