How can I post GIFs?

The title says it all, I would like to be able to post GIFs so I can troll some people and be silly.
If anybody knows how to do this an explanation would be greatly appreciated!!!

Why cant i see them?
Took me like 20 tries using different types of addresses but i finally got it. I had a rough time too lol.

You're not using the ACTUAL image. you're using a link that has embedded the image.

Notice it does not have an image file name (*.gif *.jpeg etc.) Right click on an image and select open image in new tab...

doing something wrong is my guess. try using an image someone has done to ensure it's not a link error.. Btw this should really all be in the forum syntax test group

make sure it's an image and not a link to an image on a page. Needs to be direct, see my photo down below, right click and copy image address, you get this below
