+ 1 Exemestane and "Hair Shedding"??
What's up guys! I've been doing some further research lately on the different A.I.'s, the benefits and side effects of each, and which one is really best suited for me. Now, don't get me wrong, I've done research on the main three, Anastrazole, Exemestane, and Letrozole before I went and chose Anastrazole for myself. But, I've been thinking about my lipid profile lately, because my triglycerides were just a tad high on my latest bloodwork, and was thinking that maybe I should switch to Exemestane and stay with that. The reason being that Exemestane is supposed to be better on your lipid profile than the others, as I'm sure most of you already know.
However, during my latest research, I came across some information about Exemestane, stating that it can cause "Hair Shedding". Now, I've never came across, or heard of that information before, and I was wondering how much truth to it there really is, and if any of you guys have any first hand experiences with Exemestane use and loosing or "shedding" your hair.
For me, at this point anyhow, my lipid profile is the most important factor in choosing Exemestane in replace of Anastrazole, but I'd really like to know to what degree this "hair shedding" makes you loose your hair, and how prevalent it really is amongst Exemestane users. So, if anyone who's experienced this side effect, or knows more about it can please help me out with any information, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks a lot fellas!

I've used both adex and asin and have not noticed any difference in hair loss, and I am someone who is prone. I have read about asin being steroidal and worse for hair but I don't believe is significant in the grand scheme of things for a male steroid user. In reality, any of these taken in excess for extended periods of time will lead to hairloss and general hair thinning if estrogen is kept too low. Estrogen is important for hair health. As others have said, I wouldn't worry about hairloss from the ai but rather the steroids. Just pick one and use it to manage estro so that you remain at a healthy level and you will be fine imo.
JayD718So, you have heard of it being steroidal and worse for hair. Yeah, I'm gonna go with Exemestane. Alright, thanks bro!
My honest opinion is if your worried about hair loss don't mess with aas.. anything androenic will speed it up. Just shave it and roll with it.
JayD718It's not that I'm especially worried about hair loss, but if I could avoid it in any way with the choice of A.I. that I use, then I'd like to do that. But, I would have to say, that my lipid profile and cardiovascular health is a more important factor in my life at this point. Also, I'm 37, and I've been using AAS for a long time now, and I haven't had any kind of hair loss. I guess I'm just not prone to alopecia. I was just surprised when I read that for the first time, and the way they worded it a0s "hair shedding", and wanted to ve sure it was true. Thanks bro.
Hair thinning is a listed side effect of anastrozole and exemestane. If using it on cycle I'd be more worried about the aas I'm using causing hair loss rather than exemestane.
JayD718Like I mentioned above, I'd really like to minimize my chances of hair loss any way I can. Of course I'm concerned about hair loss from AAS use as well, it's just that I wasn't aware that A.I.'s could cause hair loss as well. And you're saying that Anastrazole, and basically all A.I.'s can cause hair loss. I wasn't aware of that, Thanks bro!
Heaze2016I read if you take it anally it makes your ass hair fall out.
Lol nohomo
I have used both , not hair loss prone so I didnt experience such a thing at 25mg ED. I find anastrozole stronger for me and cheaper(pharma). If your not prone to hair loss I dont think you l have an issue.
JayD718I myself, am not prone to hair loss as well. So, you didn't have any problems at all with Exemestane, at 25mg ED? Yeah, I think I'm gonna roll with Exemestane for a while, see how I feel on it, how it effects my lipids, and go from there. To me, my lipid profile is more important than any cosmetic side effects anyhow! Alright, thanks bro.
