+ 14 HUGE fake review ring busted
Below is a list of 76 user names that were without a doubt registered here solely to create reviews and votes for
ROIDBAZAAR.NET, BUY-AS.NET, LEGITGEAR.CC and BOLDER.CC.
These were manually checked and selected as fakes with help from a 3rd party spam/scam analytics service.
- 90% of users listed below voted for every source listed above.
- 100% of these users follow the register-pic-vote rinse and repeat pattern. (e.g.: voted 7 weeks ago, last seen 7 weeks ago)
- IP and ISP all reported (anywhere from 20 to 2000 IPs per user), at some point by major spam-hunting services.
- Zero to 5 friends.
- Mostly no content except replies to their own pics.
- Karma voting ring, meaning they only vote other scam "buddies" accounts.
I'm leaving these accounts and content available for one week so you can check for yourself.
Above sources are of course penalized. Votes deleted and a banner warning posted in their review pages.
I apologize for taking this long to crack this down.

After reading some reviews here. Its hard to tell whats real and fake. Right now i am having a huge headache with CENSORED, and all the reviews say this place is perfect. This was my first order with them to supplement my TRT.
Long story short, in my opinion, all positive reviews should require a picture of the gear along with a note of username and date.
I cant name em but I've had some good experiences with the ones I've tried on here. This site has been solid and the sources have been good. Just got to study them all and follow and study, read some more and talk to higher ranking members. The ranks have been great and very fair
Many are obvious and some are just cut and paste and the ones referring to try "This other source" is a big red flag. Seen 1 too many perfect reviews. Some are sneaky but I think more than most, lol, if that means anything, are legit, positively speaking.
I haven’t been here that long man, but I researched and read and sat quietly doing my homework for weeks before placing my first order. I’ve had 4 packs land all successfully without any hiccups. Not a high ranking member so can’t play that card with me, wasn’t brought into the so called inner circle to get hookups. Most users post gear pics as I have as well. That should be enough to let you know packs are landing without a hitch.
Your having a hard time because you are new. Time and reading si pages and opinions of some will make it blatantly obvious who to and not to deal with. It's all a matter of time.

There are already new reviews on the above mentioned sources pages and I'm sure that the sources wouldn't write reviews like these on their own page. Because one includes details regarding the discreet shipping method, the other one not received gear, and so on... just my opinion!
I actually read this post early in the morning before anyone had even commented on it and have just sat back and watched what's transpired. I was hesitant to put my opinion out here right off the bat because I wasn't sure what to make of it. So now that I've seen other's opinions and had some time to think about it I'll go ahead and throw my initial reaction out here because my gut feeling hasn't changed. I respect BFG and the mods and I appreciate what they do to keep this place up and running, safe and reliable. Eroids literally changed my life since I found it and I find myself being protective of it just like a lot of you guys. If these sources all banded together and conspired to vote each other up and leave a bunch of fake reviews I would be livid. That compromises the integrity of the site and leaves us skeptical of our sources as well as our fellow member's reviews. I don't know the whole situation, all I know is what's written above. My first thought when I read this announcement was that it's a hustle by group of friends, hell it could be one person that's knowledgeable about spoofing IP addresses with too much free time that said hey, these sources give you store credit for reviews of their products. If you guy's really think about it, how many sites do that? It's become part of the industry at this point. There's no perfect system that cannot be exploited and we end up relying on other members who we know we can trust to make educated purchase decisions about some serious shit, I mean we inject this stuff into our bodies and I'm not even gonna go into the legality of the situation. So what makes more sense? These 4 sources are not competing against each other and instead they are working together, in a team effort, to improve their business with higher rankings using fake accounts.....or a group of individuals that karma up fake accounts using multiple accounts to get in on promos or purchase from sources they know reward reviews and collectively rack up some serious store credits? 76 different accounts....if each fake account got some kind of credit, promo or whatever even once that would add up to a significant amount of gear. I wonder how many of those accounts received promo gear? Whether they reviewed it or not I think it would be relevant to this situation. If these sources did do this, then yeah, it's unacceptable and many of the comments I've read would be justified, but if this is the work of people looking for handouts from their regular honey pots and these source's reputations wind up being collateral damage because we didn't see the big picture...well, that sucks pretty bad too. Either way, somebody tried to play us and I'm glad it's being looked into. I think there will be more information pertaining to this matter available to us in due time.
I appreciate your cerebral approach to all this, my dude. This forum changed my life for the better as well. I might not be the most active member or have a ton of karma to back me up, but I do what it can. Harm reduction is a big deal. Like you said, most of this stuff is being injected directly into us. I certainly don't send off my new gear to be tested. Like most of us, I'd assume, we find some solid sources and stick with them. Anyway.... Anything is possible with the interwebs, but as for your two possibilities I think the latter is more likely.

As a few others have said. I too, have my doubts about one of the sources being suspicious but you have the details that we don’t have.
My concern is with reviews of a certain number one source who have received many negative reviews yet have an incredibly high rating.

Im not sure about this, im not questioning the fake reviews, im thinking one of those sources is very constent in quality, 100% deserves his rank and doesnt need aby of those fake reviews, so why would he risk his business for just few ranks up, he already proved his quality service, think those reviews are made by dealers or something who want those huge discounts for their benifit
Could also be competitors. Knowing it would come to light and damage the sources. Simply too many variables to reliably make accusations.
Cheating to move up ranks? Maybe.
What’s important to me is A) Quality of products. B) Consistency of quality and delivery times. C) Low/zero seizure rates. D) How I’m treated.
I will say this though, super stoked the mods are on top of things like this. Keeps things honest.

RustyhookerNot really. Cheating up in rank is a bit different that full scam. Other sources that cheated the ranks eventually scammed and dipped. Be patient and see what happens with delivery.

To put this in perspective, that's .003% of the sources listed here. On Amazon, it's suspected that the MAJORITY of reviews are fake:
Electronics: 61 percent.
Beauty: 63 percent.
Sneakers: 59 percent.
Supplements: 64 percent.
Yeah it is ridiculous in the electronics department I have noticed. If I am buying anything on amazon now a days I will look for my reviews elsewhere if possible.
