HEALTH IS MY DESTINY!

ad

You deserve all the benefits for all the effort and pain you put in at the gym, planning cycles, going through injuries and everything else we endure!

My body is mine…
I control it and own it…
Whatever force or power created this magnificent machine gave me sovereignty over it..
I can choose to abuse that privilege; or use my intelligence to apply it wisely.
The key to my health is in my hand; for I determine what to place in it.
I am cognizant of the effects of my choices, and I take full responsibility for my actions.
Since my entire self lives in this wondrous biological design I understand that my mind resides there as well.
All things physical affect my mental well being.
Sorrow comes with sickness; Sadness with pain and suffering
So I decide to avoid what I can
Around me I see a world of pain and illness that is easily avoidable.
I grieve for those who have not my wisdom.
I am totally in control; and that is magnificent.
Reaping rewards of health, I am saddened by the sick and the weak.
Health and Vitality are most precious.
They are not for sale; there is no price.
I will never sell!
As I move about; I take nothing for granted…health is earned, and I earn mine every day.
There is no return to former ways of corrupting this precious gift.
Some say I’ve sacrificed; I say I have inherited the greatest gift in the Universe.
Although I work for it every day; it is a small price to pay.
Unlimited benefits and joy come my way!
And on this path I will stay!

A poem!

I have not read one of those since I was dating that art major who smelled kind of funny back in med school.

Good luck on your health journey

That funny smell was probably Sandalwood...it was all the rage for those professing alternative thinking.

Dr.BroScience's picture

Sandalwood, incense, and a bush the size of the Amazon rainforest.

Can not imagine how it did not work out .

LOL - lucky you didn't come across some endangered spieces - mate - back in the 70/80's chicks were right into their body hair - not yours - just theirs. Many a night was spent hacking up a few curlies after diving the muff. Took me a long time to get my partner in the 90's to actually shave...once she did she liked it.

I think it was the psilocybin that made them think it was the sandalwood that caused alternative thinking.

Funny thing is...in the 70's I met a lot of girls who considered themselves cool, and alternative and abstract and a whole host of adjectives that they felt defined them and made them special and/or unique....the majority coughed on a single drag of MJ, never did Acid, didn't know what a magic mushroom was, thought Speed was something to do with driving cars - but they listened to all the 'right' music and used all the 'right' slang....so many vacuous women...but hey - now I have a nostalgic moment when I smell Sandalwood....funny how life is.

Sounds like you're talking about the suburban hippie chicks.

Pretty much - only kind I ever knew.
