+ 4 Promos are bad for the voting system?
i hate to be the one to bring this up..i wanted to ask ur opinion on something, a wise man named Greg brought something to my attention.. Do you think that promos such as the ones that require ppl to vote first on previous orders encourage members to lie and write fake reviews inorder to get free stuff. also do u think that promos that give members free stuff in exchange for votes are biased, and that members might be inclined to give that source a 10 instead of an 8 because they got free stuff... just my observation ... im just seeing excellent sources at the bottom of the board while others who may not be as good (in my opinion) are rising to the top 15
i am not saying any sources here are trying to cheat, but rather us members might be screwing up and some sort of regulation should be considered. honesty should be the number one requirement of this site

If I were doing dbol from some lab for 2 weeks and switched to another lab of the same compound and I lost strength I would know. Its not that difficult or uncommon. people compare things all the time

easy guys this is simply about promos and reviews.. not an argument about how find bunk gear, although i do see both of ur points . while destructos is 100% correct, u could add the exception that if i am a new guy (1st cycle) running test e (long ester) for 6 weeks and switched over to another test e for another 4 weeks, i may not know the difference until week 8, if at all. its possible that this has happened before.
AnonIf you will read above... all this could be done by listening to a qualified member giving the results. Roidnoid is a mod and he gives honest reviews. until the guy shows himself to be untrusting, I'm going to believe him. No where did I say trust a noob
I'm talking about running the compounds at the same time!!!! Not spaced bro. The reviewers are running two labs with the same compound AT THE SAME TIME. Your not gunna be able to tell which lab is doing the job.

I haven't yet seen anyone use same type and try to compare but...definitly see your point. I always run separately so i know which one I'm going to buy from next. Samplers are getting short esters. Example aphis gear. Go look at the guys reviewing his gear. Then go look at the other sources threads they post on stating they are running their gear too. Same compounds. Don't get all pissed off bro. Your getting worked up over nothing.

I could see short esters maybe weekly, maybe even TNE twice a week. Just do what I do and don't believe anything unless its from a trusted source, like roidnoid or someone equivalent. I think I know where you are going with this and yes that would be bullshit if someone was giving dishonest reviews for free gear.

Sure there is potential for it to be abused, but it also is a way for sources to drum up new business. To ban it altogether I believe would not be very fair to them. I cannot help but think that this is more of an issue for ownership to decide, not us.

Just for the record, I once was offered free gear for a review. I told the source that I would disclose the fact that I got free gear and that it would be an honest review backed up with blood work (I figured I can afford to pay for blood work if he was paying for the cycle). The source accepted the terms and set me the gear. There were no strings attached and I was free to write the review as I saw fit. I let others know the gear was free so they can determine for themselves if I was being Biased. I posted my review 6 weeks after I started my cycle. I see no problem with this type of open promotion.
What I would have a problem with is a nervous newer member talking up a source in hopes that a "selective scammer" wouldn't scam him.
And I have a problem with a source that wants to advance in the ranks to sell more gear using "bought votes". These sources would worry me as they would be the ones to suddenly disappear when the shit hit the fan as people started realizing that a top rated source wasn't all that he appeared.
I think a post like this is a good vehicle to remind us why we came to eroids and stayed.
We don't work for the source. This is not a sponsored site. We are here for each other, and depend on each other to rate a source honestly. The only way this site works if that integrity stays intact.

The population of members here who get free shit is small. Compared to the average joe who orders and pays in full for his order. As a new member Why would they want to base the decision on whether to order on the reviews of the minority. I want to know the average joes experiences. It's not that I don't trust the guys reviewing free product it's just that if the only people who get their packs on time or the gear is quality are the high level members then why as a new customer would I take that chance?
Anyone who thinks that high level members don't get comped or treated differently is either lying or lying. Trust me. I been there before.
RustyhookerSounds more n more like pictures and/or blood to prove results will still be the best route. I bought my tren, test, and caber for upcoming cycle but will be adding in mast prop late in cycle from prize won last summer. So pictures thru cycle and clear description seems best route.
well there are actually only a few ppl who i would trust on here when it comes to reviews mainly for my purposes. people who been around for a while w/ high karma such as tread. but say for someone who is new, who they gunna trust...they are going to read up and decide based on what the majority of ppl are saying, high karma or low karma. they dont know anyone
XV, I know I spent a couple weeks going thru reviews looking at sources and actually attempted to order from another top ten before I settled on the one I have used. No problems. I have not received any free gear or taken advantage of any promos.
I really do not believe most noobs are even aware of the free gear or very understanding of promo's. We look around the site, we look at pics and cycle logs, we look at many source websites and read reviews before finally making an order. At least that is what I did.

I participated in one of the free promos. I received my free stuff. Excited started trying it immediately.
about 3 days after i received i had a message from the source. saying to remeber to vote blah blah. and also saying that if i vote and like what i had ill receive free, we'll call it a certificate worth X amount of dollars.
Well immediately i thought this could skew things.
I feel this will intice people to vote and leave a decent review just to receive more free things. there is absolutely nothing wrong with this if product is good. so far from my trial product is not good. yet still i feel some would vote well just to receive more goods. not thinking that most likely those goods will not be to good either...
yes there are honest ppl here, but also many that im sure are not, and more that have no idea of good gear. all this combined i feel could lead to misleading reviews....
If you got free/promo drugs and they weren't good, why would you be reluctant to say so for fear of not getting a discount for more bunk crap??

I might not have the karma to get many promos but I was able to get one recently and like I told him he will get a very honest review and vote. After am done using his product not before but after.
RustyhookerRecently i bought and paid for my goodies. Long story short, their service was sub par for even a drug dealer. I voted as such. I'm sure it can be easy to get swayed though.

Like Beast said, these guys are asking for a positive review THEN they will send you the Promo. Its basically buying a vote. People that are short on cash may decide they wouldn't mind getting some free gear.

That doesn't mean I will give a fake vote or review just to get some free gear that I could really use.

RustyhookerI agree on that loudly. There's a source that tried last winter to do that "vote then receive" BS with me. I flipped em the bird. Others that were on here never got their stuff after the vote. If any MOD needs details on that occurrence...pm me.
While u might be an honest person brother, others might not. there is a promo right now to review first before getting the stuff. and sure if the gear sucks , im sure members will say so, why would anyone give a good rating to something that is bunk. but if the gear is good quality but not excellent, do u think that a member might be inclined to give that source an excellent rating instead of good.
im not saying we should shut promos down, just simply suggesting some sort of regulation or rules that is all. and ur right its about to get interesting, i think im about to get gang banged but its just how i feel and i couldnt help myself.. just simply asking for ppls opinions thats all

Its buying votes and that's not cool. It would be cool if they would give the promo either way but then again if you think about it, if I don't like a source I'm not going to give a damn about any gear they send me that's extra. So I think it shouldn't be allowed at all.
