+ 7 how to acquire points

ad

yes we have talked about this many times but i still get guys asking me how to get points around here, ill say participate in the forums and then ill here that they dont know enough or they are but arent getting any points for it. So im gonna share some of the things I did when the forums first opened and I didnt have answers. The first thing I did was to look at every question as a possibility to get points, I participated in just about every thread I could. yes there is some guys here that got alot of stuff memorized but how do you think they got that info? they studied their asses off and read everything they could get their eyes on. its really not that hard to get points around here and not know diddly squat. get something to write with or a printer, take the question "is test-e a good stand alone compound?" and google it, start reading and writing down key points that you want to use as your answer, you can also use the sites search engine up in the right hand corner. In 15 to 30 minutes time you will have enough information about that compound or question to give an answer that very well may give you some points. it will also help you learn compounds and understand them. its really like doing a book report for school but much easier. I see alot of posts around here where the same guys answer questions, and I love these guys for what they do for eroids, but please dont be intimidated you can be just like these guys! TODAY!

If you are honest with your opinion and are sharing your experience that helps a lot. You do not have to be a chemist/scientist or a pro bodybuilder to give your opinion or offer constructive criticism but always know where you stand before you do. If you have done a little research or a couple of cycles, yes, I'm sure you can offer some form of opinion/knowledge to someone who has not but offer what your level of knowledge is. Having all levels of experience is what makes a board active, if we were all pro's of aas, diet, training, etc. then there wouldn't be much to these forums. If you are fairly new and read a thread of someone wanting to get huge quick, dont offer them to take tren, prop, mast etc just because you've read multiple threads on how great those products work. Ive known too many people that read threads on tren, etc and how fast they gained lean muscle and just get this tunnel vision of thats what they want to do, thats going to be their answer and ticket to get them where they want to be. its great to share your experiences, stories, knowledge, but share what you know not what you think you know. if i read a thread of someone looking for advice that i know nothing about, i won't offer any advice just to get my name in that thread.

Nitti's picture

Is this your real name bud?

Nitti's picture

Iv'e seen too many guys giving advice that is actually terrible, and would probably cause more harm

Agreed! My gripe is with ppl giving advice without experiencing it themselves. Makes me fuckin crazy

Roid Noid's picture

theres many compounds i have not ran that I know alot about from research and i often times pass that along to others in question! Hope we can still be internet friends!.....just because papaswole never touched a weight in his life did that make his information wrong? just wondering cause its still there.

Nitti's picture

Well I'm pretty sure you know the difference between a 40 something year old life long bodybuilder and a 20 something newbie on his first run. There are exceptions to the rule. Besides ,it's not like you are breaking any rules. So I won't have to ban you. Or worse , take that precious karma. I know you guys love you some karma. ;-)

Roid Noid's picture

damn nitti your growing up so fast!

avocado13's picture

This is directed at the inexperienced. I've been here a year and a half and I have 53 karma which really isn't too much considering the amount of time I've been on here/spend on here. Why is it so low? A year and a half is when I started my first cycle. I'm still very much the beginner and learning. Sure I could regurgitate some info about tren but have I ever used it? Absolutely not. So when the inexperienced just regurgitate info, it really makes it dangerous. Along the lines of what muta is saying, sure I could layout a basic test E cycle but anything besides that, leave it alone to the guys who have had a lifetime of cycles! Everyone wants to get karma but if you're giving advice and you're only on your second or third cycle, well thats pretty fucked up!

Darktide's picture

Knowing your depths and not going beyond them to me is nothing but integrity! Not tho mention the clear conscience you get by not screwing up another person's health. I feel the exact same way.

Nitti's picture

I agree with Viking! You are doing the right thing. And like he said, if I don't know shit about a particular topic, I just stay out of it. Like him I have never touched peps or hgh. I couldn't tell you how to mix the shit. Ppl ask me periodically and I point them to the guys that do know. My bodybuilding experience is that of a puppy so I don't give advice on training. Diet I can tell you what I do but it won't help anyone who isn't an ecto. My experience comes from years of using compounds the WRONG way! I've learned a lot but unfortunately it was the hard way.

Nitti's picture

Now if you want to learn how to throw a left hook from hell, I'm your guy. You want to learn how to do bag work or use shadow boxing as cardio. I'm your guy. Tren, short esters and the extremely toxic orals, that's where my experience lies.

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

You are doing the right thing by being conservative with dishing out info bro.. i get your point in only responding to things that you know about fully and can then give a personal use/view on the topic... i agree with that outlook, thats basically how i do it... i give true self experience input on AAS topics and nutrition.. you probably noticed i never even go near anything HGH or PEPS related due to the fact i have never used either so instead of parroting BS that i have read or picked up along the way i keep my mouth firmly shut!.. instead of causing problems for someone due to my lack of true knowledge on those subjects.... works for me that way so i can stand behind my words 100% and never be called out for giving shite advice.

Post pictures of your girlfriends/wifes/yourself in a thong...seems to be a trend to get some karma. There ya go newbies instant karma.

Nitti's picture

LOL, it's a trap! And he will be the first one to take karma for this. I tend to agree with him

Great Read! +1

Crewkid93's picture

The only time karma really is wanted is to rate a source, give a thumbs up or down, and to be able to compete in promos. But all 3 are important reasons to have karma but the promos take the most :(

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

There you go.. you just said it yourself bro... good solid karma potentially could save you thousands over a year when the big promos raise thier heads..................... think about it!

Crewkid93's picture

I know thank you. It also helps you become more active in the community therefor when others need help. You've been around the forums from helping out so your more educated yourself so you can help them out. Everyone on here is like a family even when your ticked off and get screamed at its still for your own good.

Crewkid93's picture

I know brother. Like I said in the messages I appreciate all the help you've gave me so I could help out my bro. Just so everyone else can see he deserves +1 he truly helped my boy out.

Just that one sentance you wrote there will influence so many people that read this thread... thats a blinding example of how to gain karma imo... easy as that brother Smile

alain_305mia's picture

Hell yes it does..im tired of hearing "Pack just landed and this shit is G2G"..How the fuck is it good to go if you havent even ran it.???.I wish we had easier ways of testing like home test strips or something lol ..anyone agree?

NoPain's picture

another tip. if you are a male on hcg and you piss on a prego test and it is positive...you are fucked... and a funny bastard.

School is in session! Please take out your notebooks and your pencils
.Absorbing the readily and easily available material online from one person to another is how we generally function on here .
As Roid Noid has pointed out on several occasions "writing notes is the key".
I see a lot of click and pasters get the boot which is good to know.Plagerism is an awful term.
BUT I will point out that some information online can always be tainted for example =Anyone ever play that game where one person tells a story and the other repeats it to the next after 50 passes of the story it somewhat resembles the plot but characters have changed .
.Regardless members who truly dedicate to seeking facts and info generally are able to detect bunk info with simple analysis of the data presented.
But in the case of these click and pasters their aim is just to bring the info to the table and it dont matter if a peabrained juicehead on addarol wrote it as long as it keeps the points rolling.

Nitti's picture

"If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough."
Albert Einstein

We all read and research things all the time. In doing so some of us soak up the info like a sponge, apply it and live through the experience to completely understand it. Others read, memorize and repeat (parrot). It's fairly easy to tell the two apart when you've been here long enough. If you have no experience with something then your insight is tainted.

MASSIVE48's picture

Your right noid its really not that hard, well now i guess.. But i actually really enjoyhelping out on what i can around here so i dont even think about the points like when i first joined the points just come on their own now.:)... Really lookin foward on Viking teachin me about more intermediate Cycles and then advance cycle after that since i find aas and this lifestyle very interesting.

"Just help out with what you can guys and the points will come dont worry!"

eatchicken's picture

Guys i feel stupid for not knowing this but what the hell are these points for lol, i didn't even realize that i had points untili was around 25ish i just know that.when ppl put +1 i get a highet point, i think o also get one when i post as picture, which i do allot, i like showing ppl my progress

mjunkie's picture

honestly i never worried about points, i love doing research and learning new things and it feels great to teach those things to others, and a lot of the time i learn new things just from answering other peoples questions because it makes go back and research again just to make sure i didn't forget something, i'm no pro by any means but whatever i do know i pass on

thepullmanator's picture

it may seem like parroting to some but if you think about it all you have to do to is spend 15 min like roid said researchin test e on this website to know that 12 week 500 mg a week with an ai like adex at .25 e3d (increased to eod) if needed is a basic first cycle so when a new guy comes on and ask the question you can let him know this or POINT HIM IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION to answer his question but the key is to understand why it is the right anwswer... so if they ask more you can talk about knowing test well and how to get gains and minipulate it to your bodies needs before adding compounds for desired results... its how I learned what from what ...and the best part is learning new stuff from everybody all the time

I have been working with a guy today who is growing his knowledge base. He has had some mentoring from other guys and has a good base. So I started quizzing him like I did with Cdaddy. I laid out a cycle for him with flaws in it. Asked him to point out the mistakes and also to give me a pct to run for it. I was so happy when he nailed the answer. I gave him more questions n again he answered them almost completely correct. My point is that there are some REAL high karma members who love seeing members grow. I live for it. I used to be about flaming guys who were wrong. But one day I realized I'm not here for me. I'm part of a team. TEAM. That means our team is a reflection of us all. We need to help our team grow. There are so many Boards out there who think Eroids is a trap for noobs. Well that offends me. I take everything I read negatively about MY HOME TEAM personal. As a member of this team I feel obligated to help my teammates grow their knowledge base and I encourage them to spread the love to the newer less informed members.
I know there are some outstanding guys who know a lot here. We gotta spread the love. Help others so they can return the favor and help the next guy. I feel a certain satisfaction when I'm able to help. I hope the rest of the Vets here feel the same satisfaction. Cuz the smarter our Team is the stronger we all are. Karma comes with time. Be patient and live in the forums. It's amazing the things u can learn in there even for guys who know a lot. Forums= knowledge, karma, respect and brotherhood. You'll learn in the forums. Spread the knowledge around and here comes karma. Spreading the knowledge and gaining karma brings respect. Do all of that and you'll experience true brotherhood. I've gained lifelong friends by doing exactly that.

I like the way u think bro this is the right way to go about this
