Got down to 183 lbs. not sure about the Bf I would say 8/9%. Sleep has been atrocious been waking up at 2:30 am hungry haha. Upped the food to 2500cals gonna hold here for a few weeks then start a rebound.

My BMR is 3,000. I do cardio every day, lift 5 days a week, and get about 20,000 steps a day. Maintenance for me is roughly 4500

Rebound phase is gonna fit beautifully now because you’re definitely lean. Usually the leaner you get before reversing food, the better the nutrient partitioning, insulin sensitivity and overall quality of growth tends to be.

Sleep at this stage is brutal for sure lmao
That waking up hungry at 2-3am while depleted is almost a rite of passage at this point.

How deep did you push calories during the cut? 2200? 2000? Did you do any carb cycling or zero/very low carb phases during the process?

And if you haven’t tried something like this yet, this combo has helped me a lot during aggressive cuts/rebounds:

15g glycine
5mg melatonin
200mg l-theanine
300mg ashwagandha
400mg magnesium glycinate
50-100mg valerian root
100mg 5-HTP
100mg GABA
And GH pre bed if you’re still running it.

If nothing works… last case scenario I’ve used Ambien before and it helped me a lot too, but obviously with caution/respect.

So at the end training days (4 days a week - 3 off days (calories were 1800 cals.
2 of the off days food was at 1600. One off day would be “low-low” day at 1500.

So I usually low carb - super high protein - low fats like 10-14 days straight. Then when I wake up and I can’t even stand up I’m so tired I would do a high carb day. Well high carbs being 220 lol can’t really eat more with out going over cals.

Still made mistakes this go and will apply towards year! Appreciate your in put bro-bro. Trying to be huuuuge like you

Bro… I’d probably keep the carb cycling structure and slowly push calories up mostly through carbs and protein while keeping fats relatively low at first, same approach you’re already using…

Basically bump the high days first, then adjust medium/low days accordingly. Something like +200-300 calories every week or so depending how your body responds. (Till hit maintenance…then slowly progress towards 10-20% surplus) IMO..

That would personally be my approach after a cut like yours.

But everyone is different brother, you know…so…you gotta test it on yourself and see how YOU feel/respond.

Usually if fats stay controlled and food increases progressively, you rebound with way better quality, stay fuller/harder and avoid getting instantly watery and sloppy…

And btw bodybuilding is an illusion anyway bro lmao … I still feel small and needing to grow too. We’re all just constantly progressing little by little trying to get better every year.

Problem is when you’re deep in a deficit and ghrelin is already destroying you… weed can turn you into a vacuum cleaner at 2am and completely nuke the cut.

And some people simply can’t resist the hunger side effects from THC once it kicks in… lol

If calories aren’t super low though, it can help a lot for sleep for sure.
