High RHR, low blood pressure.

ad

Hey fellas. Looking for a little advice here from some experienced AAS users. I'm pretty health concious and conservative with my dosing. I get bloods done. They all came back perfect. I take blood pressure and RHR everyday, once in the morning and once at night. In the morning, before meds and any food, my BP sits at around 90-100/45-65, and at night, the same thing. But my resting heart rate is always between 85-105. After lifts, it gets up to 120-125 bpm when I'm sitting in the car.

I do zone 2 cardio 4 times a week minimum (13-15 incline, 2.8 - 3.5 speed for 30-50 minutes. I break a real good sweat.) Sometimes 5. And I average a minimum of 10k steps daily. I keep fats low, carbs high, and protein at 1g/lb of bodyweight or higher. I weight train 4 times a week, hard and to failure. I dont notice any downsides of my high RHR in day to day life or in my cardio abilities, however I know a high RHR is not at all favorable for longevity, especially in the AAS sphere.

Current stack :
300 test E weekly
450 Mast prop weekly
25 anavar daily
5mg Reta every 5-6 days.
Oils are pinned ED using 28 gauge slin pins.

Ancillaries and health supps :
40mg Telmisartan
10mg Ezetimibe
10mg Cialis
1G Tudca
4G EPA and DHA Fish Oil
D3 and K2
Niacin No Flush
1G Citrus Bergamot
Vitamin B Complex
400mg COQ10
400mg Magensium Glycinate
600mg Milk Thistle
600mg Turmeric
20mg Astaxanthin

My theory at first was that the preventative telmisartan dose was lowering my blood pressure so much that it was resulting in reflex tachycardia? So I dropped it for a week but saw zero difference in RHR.

Im really thinking I may be some sort of hyperresponder to Retas glucagon activation? I've read anecdotals across forums of people getting a 15-20bpm jump in RHR, some rare hyperresponse. Maybe thats it? Im getting off of it completely and going to see. I wanted your guys thoughts in case that doesnt make a difference. I tried to be as thorough as possible for you guys in this post.

Look into nebivolol or propranolol, both beta blockers which will lower your rhr. Wouldn't be surprised with the Reta causing it to be elevated, seems like you're pretty dialed in.

Its the reta dude. It rasies resting heart rate.

85-105 is on the higher end of normal as far as I know but I’m not a medical professional.

Yeah my RHR went up by 20bpm as well from the Reta.

How long did it take for your RHR to go back to normal after stopping the reta? Or are you still on it? And what dose?

Mine was up 15 on 5mg of Reta per week. I’ve taken a few breaks and my RHR always returns to normal within 10-14 days

Telmisartan and Cialis why? That explains the low BP. Hows your stim intake? Not just caffeine, but do you take any crazy preworkout products? Some of those ingredients have a long half life, even though you cant feel it

Cialis more so for the pumps. Telmisartan just for preventative measure as I heard its kidney protective aswell. 200-400mg caffeine on leg days. No crazy stims. I use Gorilla Mind pre workout formula.

What is your daily hydration? Not just water, but sodium and potassium as well? Hydration, stim use, and the reflex tachycardia are all possibilities. Have you tried pulling the cialis and keeping the Telmisartan? You may have to just start dropping one thing at a time to see if anything fixes rhr

I think this is where I may be messing up. I drink 100-130 ounces of water per day. But I dont track sodium or potassium.

Definitely, at least roughly. Id try dropping the cialis, or even halving the dose. SOmetimes you just gotta experiment. I cant speak too much personally on Reta, but yeah I do see some cases of increased rhr. How long have you been using it?
