+ 4 What Are Everyone's Favourite PROTEIN Snacks?

Along with eating a lot of Chicken and Tuna, I eat a tonne of Cheese too either as snacks like Babybel or as an accompaniment or main during a meal. I'm a Big fan of Cheddar & Mozzarella Cheese and Salad Cream sandwiches too Lol I always knew that cheese was a good source of protein but I never really knew just how good - It actually has the same protein content per 100g as chicken does and is rich in amino's and all the 9 Essential Amino acids (dependant on variety as to how high content is).

Problem is I am also guilty of liking Jelly sweets etc so am trying to clean up my act and just include snacks that have medium to high protein content in a bid to become FUCKIN MASSIVE!!! LMFAOO

I'd like to hear what everyone likes to eat when chilling out on the sofa between main meals or on the go at work - BUT it has to include ALL EAA's and help contribute towards building muscle Good

Hey mate - I never realised you had pec reattachment surgery before, at least I can't remember you saying it lol Tell me bud - I've always been intrigued to know all thats involved with timescales to wait for surgery after the accident, time you are immobile for with arm in sling, then time until you can even begin to lift again and then when you are in theory properly healed to lift heavyish again?

So i actually detached it from the bone doing decline bench press.
My fault, I was dehydrated from being hung over and bad form.
On my 8th rep it just blew, was only doing 225. I went to the hospital and arm turned purple/black. You only have around 2 weeks to get it reactached before the scare tissue starts building up and makes it harder to repair.
Once surgery was done, the pain meds they give you bearly do shit. You are in a sling and cant rotate your arm out or you will pull out the anchors they put it. Thry want you to feel the pain ao you dont mess it up. They drilled the bone, pulled the pec major over, and attached it by sewing it in.
Wore the sling for around 8 weeks. 24hrs a day. Did therapy for 6 months. I got cleared to workout out around 8months after surgery but I was still scared and random things would cause pain.
It will be 2 years in March and finally starting to push hard again. For the first year and change I kept it light and focused on rebuilding the area.
I used bpc,tb,hgh, to help heal faster. I got movement back quick but strength wasnt there.
So for a year working out sucked and gained some weight. Finally getting back to it how I used to.
They say your healed good about a year in but are very vulnerable to damage it again.
Worst pain in my life.
I did run a 5k with my daughter the following moring after the injury beacuse Wife couldnt make it and what kind of man would I be if i didnt push through the pain.
Bought a cheap sling and held my arm through the race. We actually placed good but that was a dumbass idea. Typical man.

Blimey so it is quite a long road back to recovery then, nothing at all like the 3 months some of these wanker influencers make it out to be on Youtube!! I can only imagine the mental and psychological impact and trauma it has on you - ALL that time of not being able to move it or do jack shit. I bet in your clothes you feel like you are a 10 year old child again with all the shoulder and chest size you lose. Must be horrible.

For sure mate dehydration has a massive impact on getting pec and tendon tears - when I use to run tonnes of tren I could often feel my tendons were dehydrated across the chest and shoulders, but the DBol just kept enough water in there to not get injured I guess. Always been a huge worry of mine.

HAHAHA I bet that is a feat in itself running with your arm in a sling since you naturally move your arms to balance out your body and running posture lol Great to hear you are healing up now though mate, they often say once you have had pec surgery you are less prone to tears since everything is nailed and bolted in - not sure whether I'd risk putting that to the test though!!

Now one pec looks diffrent but its all good.
I got a badass scar too. Shitty part was with the insurance I jad, I still paid 10k after everything.

RealGood chicken nuggets/strips are in heavy rotation, for over a year now! They are good! Air fryer makes them stupid easy. Not gourmet but they work. Love Costco!

For “cheat” snacks on the couch that still hit protein: Legendary pop-tarts/donuts, PowerCrunch wafers, Barebells when I want that Snickers vibe, Quest tortilla chips!

Actual food is boring stuff: canned tuna, chicken, oats, yogurt with protein powder mixed in.

Rice cooked in low sodium bone broth not water with hot sauce and popcorn nacho cheese flavor powder, white cheddar chunks, jalapeño cheddar chunks, mozzarella/burrata. Eat this on the couch all the time!

If it’s easy, high protein, and I’ll actually eat it consistently, it stays. If it feels like work, it’s gone. I prioritize protein first before all other macros so hitting 200-220 is simple.
