It is. You can run it at higher doses and longer due to this. It is still liver toxic but because you are not ingesting it your liver is not directly filtering it out of your urine.

I only shed going from blast to cruise for some reason. I talked to other people who had the same from the hormone fluctuation of going down in dosage. I shed so bad but no it’s not permanent. From my understanding and experience, unless you’re prone to being bald genetically, you will not have permanent hair loss. If you are prone, then it will speed up the process, even though you were gonna be bald anyway
My first go with steroids was trt a little over 5 years ago. 200mg test c weekly. My hair had started thinning around the same time. Could’ve been a coincidence or not. Both of my grandpas went bald so it’s in my family. It did stop thinning. Still thinned enough I prefer to just keep a buzz cut. I could get away with a high and tight.
After diving in deeper and running mast a handful of times my hair has stayed the same. Not an answer for you but just my experience. Only one way to find out for sure. YOLO.
