+ 3 Installed some goodies on the S1KRR
ad
So i recently did quite a few mods to the S1KRR. Akra header, Carita stage 2 tune, Carbon fiber engine covers, and a blackout plate just in case I get caught doing triple digits. haha.
On the tune, I gained 60whp in the midrange. BMW nerfed this rpm range a bit for euro5 and EPA and well as noise regulations. Wakes up the bike up big time. 9whp in the peak. So I'm at 210whp on pump. 220whp on MR12. No more torque limiter in lower gears, no more speed limiter, 45% quicker shifts in the quick shifter, Full control of intake flappers. No more cold start, so shes not obnoxious on start up. Best G I ever spent. lol.
Video of the blackout plate hear. Anyone know how to embed?

Sick bike man.
amazing what a tune will do
Those Carbon fiber covers are sexy.
Be safe bro!!!
When I had a 1999 R1 I could actually ride it and open it all the way up, when I got a 2005 GSXR1000 it was simply too powerful for me and scared the shit out of me lol So God knows how the fuck you ride that thing LMAO I assume you just have no fear at all??
Riding a long time. Over 3 decades. Little scares me on 2 wheels these days. Yea the tune makes it stupid fast.
Ya need one of the new M4 Competitions with the Digidash and Blue illumination pack parked next to it in that garage to finish off the collection!!!
Akra headers with an SC Project can, is like putting ketchup on maccheroni
LOL. Yea, kinda is I guess. I like to try different set ups to see what makes power and where. I have an arrow header and some other slip ons that I'll dyno soon. Even have a chinese copy akra header to see how accurate they are and if they make power.
Nice ride. It's amazing what a simple tune can do
Badass!
Next mods will be more carbon and sprockets and chains when I wears these out. Gonna drop one tooth in the back and add one in the front. Should move my top speed from 197-200 to 224-229mph while still maintaining a low 9 second 1/4 mile.
Sounds like I'm being replaced by a robot.
