It was when I was reliving scenes from leaving Las Vegas for me. Curled up in a ball in a hot shower at 6am getting enough vodka in me to stop the spasms and get out the door to work. The first couple of swallows would come back up, but eventually things would level out lol. Don’t miss it at all, I was very lucky. Guardian angel or god maybe, but I came out relatively unscathed.
The company I’m working for at the moment is completely tobacco free. If you smoke or vape, you’re supposed to get in your vehicle and leave the property. I vape. I recently started using those tobacco free nicotine pouches. They’re pretty good.
I’ll give it a go, thanks for the tip. This place is a very very clean environment, there’s simply no way I could smell like tobacco. I’m out of thumbs ups lol
Nicotine gum is nice, too, but expensive. Within the past 3 months I kicked my 18 year dipping habit… if I can kick the stupid habit, you can too!
I long for a freaking dip here and there, though, especially when things get extra stressful at the house or if I’m mowing the lawn, stuff like that - but jumping on the juice finally gave me enough motivation to stop, oddly enough.
Anywho, you’re a grown man, you make your own decisions. If you don’t mind international sources, I’d suggest looking into Swedish snus. It’s FAR healthier than tobacco products stateside (except for maybe the General Snus if it’s in your area) and comes in tons of flavors, strengths, and brands. Kinda pricey with shipping costs, but you can’t beat how smooth it is.
