+ 1 Thoughts on just HCG and HGH for first cycle

ad

M48 yrs, 5'11", 185, 13% bf, lifelong natty athlete

I've suffered from low T symptoms for over 10 years but for numerous reasons haven't been able to supplement with gear.

I'm ready but I want to start slow.

A big part of me just wants to do a legit first cycle but honestly I'm afraid of losing the rest of my hair and gyno.

I have relatively normal total T but free is very low.
Total T - 500 ng/dl
Free T - 8.6 pg/m (!)
FSH - 126 mlU/ml
LH - 10.6mIU/ml

I'm thinking about starting with just HCG to see how I handle the increased levels and sides before shutting the balls down completely.
I think I'd like to stack with HGH for the sleep benefits and synergistic effects combined with the higher T

What do you bros think?

How can taking HCG prepare you for the sides of Test? I say just run a low dose Test cycle to see how you react to Test.

Nope. Bad idea. Makwa has a post on free test. Check it out

What is the root cause of your low T?
Have you gotten your FSH & LH levels tested ?
If those were normal I wouldn’t except too much but if they are low and possibly the cause hcg could help a lot.

I would say there are more side effects than using Test or test + hcg with hcg alone. You will get diminishing returns rather quickly after 4-6 months, and the negative side effects can be quite unpleasant.

FSH and LH are off the charts high.
So this is telling me the balls aren't responding and therefore HCG won't be effective, correct?

You are a quick study!

Copy & paste but same info I would say-

” Primary hypogonadism involves failure of the testes to respond to follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). When primary hypogonadism affects testosterone production, testosterone is insufficient to inhibit production of FSH and LH; hence, FSH and LH levels are elevated.

Primary vs. Secondary-

“Primary hypogonadism:
In primary hypogonadism, the testes are impaired and can't produce enough testosterone. HCG can't address this issue.

Secondary hypogonadism:
In secondary hypogonadism, the pituitary or hypothalamus are impaired. HCG can help restore testosterone levels in these cases.”

If infertile it could help, but with the ways each person responds differently to hcg and you having primary caused by an underlying issue that is unsolved I would wait until cleared for T personally. Have you consulted your doc?

Thanks man, very helpful. I've consulted my urologist but he was useless. Just looked at my total T and said I was within range. I live in the boonies so getting decent healthcare is near impossible.

Surprisingly most endo’s and urologist’s do not specialize or even know much about this topic. They go off 30 year old medical textbooks and say we’re good. You have to find a modern doc that specializes or go to telehealth online clinic in today’s world to get proper treatment honestly.

Roger that. I've been on the hunt for a good doc but haven't been successful. Finding most of the online clinics just want to sell me overpriced Test.

Have you looked at marek? They seem more fully-health oriented rather than just fronts to sell steroids. Of course you can be suggestive, but with your provided history they should work with you to discover what’s going on.

Yes actually. Super familiar with MPMD and Derek. Actually signed up and paid for bloods through Marek a couple of years ago but was not stoked with the provider I was assigned. She didn't seem as knowledgable about reading bloods as I was and again it just felt like they wanted to sell me high priced gear. Might have to give them another shot. Thanks for the recommendation though.

Yeah I’ve heard that about lots of clinics. Have a buddy who goes through them and is happy with it so thought I’d ask. I’m lucky to have a good relationship with a smart endo and take that for granted sometimes!
