Back acne during PCT
ad
So I’m 4 weeks into my PCT after finishing my second cycle. I’m on clomid, tamoxifen and hcg. I’ve started to get very bad acne on my back, shoulders and some on my chest. I always thought that I’m prone to acne as I never got it during puberty and during/after my first cycle.
I’ve started to use ketoconazole shampoo when I shower, scrubbing it over my back. I’ve also just started benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin cream first day using both.
Is there anything else I can do to combat this and what’s the reasoning of me getting this acne after my cycle.

anvilUnbalanced hormone levels is the cause, if you continue to PCT and come off and on gear this might happen each time. Acne thrives in these situations. You can be more sterile but if it caused by hormones you will have to wait it out, but it will subside on its own.
I agree, hormone changes/imbalances. I blast and trt. And I'm usually pretty good on cycle but when I come back down to my trt dose acne seems to be a little worse.
Shower at least twice a day. Put down large towels on top of your sheets/pillows and change them at least twice a week. If you're sweating at night at least flip them. Dawn dish soap is antimicrobial and can be good for washing.
Going OCD on you hygiene is what helped me.
Hcg on pct can raise estrogen and stop your recovery. Hormonal chaos causes acne too.

I started having spots before the use of hcg. I’m on one pill of clomid and tamoxifen daily, and been on that for 2 weeks - shall I continue this for another 4 weeks or increase dose ?
Estrogen pushes a negative feedback loop on recovery and halts it. Nolva clomid but id not use hcg.
anvilYou can still continue the protocol you have started, you can prevent or correct this dip in test , just have you regular system come back on line and combat the estrogen.
EfficientPhysiologyAnytime you have a drastic change in hormones you are more prone to develop acne. Your doctor can prescribe you mild oral antibiotics normally doxycycline or minocycline.
