Am I a non responder? HELP ME
ad
So I finished a deca and test cycle not long ago I’m now on my last 2 weeks of my pct. But I don’t think I’ve gained enough size compared to what I expected. I’m not a genetic freak but expected more. I’ll upload a before and after photo so you can see.
On the left is after the cycle and the right is before.
But can someone give me advice and let me know if it looks normal or not.
Notes; I used a reputable source and my dosage was 500mg sustanon and 300mg of deca per week. Pinning EOD for 12 weeks
Also half way thru the cycle until around now, when u got hot I would get unbearably itchy any ideas ??
Any advice would be appreciated if you have any questions please ask.

AK80A 12 pound gain isn't too shabby. You may have been able to get 15 to 20 pounds if you ate more carbohydrates and did more volume in the gym. Take a step back and see where you can modify your food or your training. Your gear and the way you did it is 100% OK so don't stress over that part.
That’s not super uncommon. Without knowing any other details, you look like you didn’t consume nearly enough food. That’s one of the hardest parts for most of us is consuming enough food responsibly. Honestly, food would have done more alone than you got with juice
Gotta really track your macros and weigh out your food. Hardest part for me is always the diet. Muscles need food
anvilYou would know if you are a non responder, because you would be doing blook work before , during and after your "cycle" . But since you didn't you are gonna need to retry. The red/itchy could be a reaction from a carrier oil.
My blood work said my test was high so the gear worked just not as I expected
anvilOkay what were your levels because you did respond if your test was high. The only way we can diagnose what's happening is with details. Nutrition Marcos, blood work, training.
I’m glad somebody pointed out the beyond obvious contradiction… lol.
Can you post a picture of that?
Bloods will give us much more insight- please post up! I agree with most here… looks like a diet issue more than a gear issue. Steroids are amazing, but they are not a completely magic cheat code! You can’t just eat one lunchable and expect to grow because you’re blasting. Thermodynamics is king.
OP actually lost some muscle on a test and deca cycle, either you were injecting straight up salad oil or ...idk wtf is going on.
Sorry the images are flipped left is after and right is before!
Try eating 500g protein/day next time. The juice helps your body assimilate more protein. That's how it works. As far as carbs, 200-300g/ day is enough. Fat, maybe 60-80g.
As for the itching, have your kidneys checked.
That's alot of of protein. I've never went that high ever. Shouldn't have to. I'd rather use caution and stay at a gram per pound or lower. I've went lower and still gained. A few factors though. 500 grams has to eventually take it's toll on the body I would think but who knows.
But… but… but more protein=more muscle right?!? I saw it on TikTok and he’s only 22 on Tren so probably smarter than you what do you even know dude???! I’m starting 2g tren once a week blast no test base for extra effect and going to be biggest dude ever ur going to eat ur words!!!
Now you're approaching Astronaut aka Moon blaster status!!!
+1 I'm not saying I have all the answers. Man our bodies are the same but act so damn differently so ya never know. Some guys could probably tolerate that much protein, I know I probably couldn't though. That's a lot! But Yeah gotta have protein for growth for sure
Ahaha I hope you realize that whole paragraph was sarcasm/joking brother!! I would never talk to you or anyone like that and have a ton of respect for your knowledge!!
Yeah I did! I figured that out real fast. That's not you at all. You can't stand Astronauts lol
Hey man I appreciate that and you already know I respect you back. Thanks man. Just glad you're back
anvilJust curious , can you enlightened me in how steroids work, I'm around 250 and I eat 250 grams of protein a day. How does that work? Help me out buddy.
Dannnng son, how’s that liver?
I want to meet someone that eats 500 grams of protein a day.
anvilEvery single pro builder from the 90s and early 2000s. I would say guys that over 300 in the off season are close to that. Not for normal folks , you won't.
Could I have 25 protein shakes please. Anything else. Nah that is all.
Are you stupid?
If there is a problem with his kidneys, then the last thing he should be trying to do is consume 500g per day protein which I think most people would find impossible anyway. 300g is more than enough.
The OP is 83kg it looks like from his profile. 200g of protein is more than enough. Dude above is just wrong. No other way to put that.
LMAO I was going to say 200g but no doubt someone on here would of said thats too low.
anvil200 is to low
Nah 200g is plenty for anyone who is not competing in the mr olympia, 500g is just retarded lmao.
I would agree. You're 100% right. 200 IS NOT TOO LOW for some guys. And that's a fact. Yeah 500g is way too much. If I had to eat that much to grow I wouldn't even bother..forget about it!
But I heard it on TikTok bro!!!!
No i saw my favorite influence on yourtube and IG say that.
John Haack never goes above 200g per day at 220lbs BW - and thats some motherfucker who is benching 600 and deadlifting 915!!! Although I am aware they say Bodybuilding requires a bit more than powerlifting due to hypertrophy goals.
anvil200 is a good place for this post.
For myself getting over 4k macros per day, I like to get 250-300 for me. Not because I think more is the secret to success, I just will get bloated pushing up carbs to 1200 a day.
I think 200 is fine. Especially if your on a surplus. Gaining is more carbs for me. To much protein to little carbs I'd wither away.
The influence thing was a joke.
Eroids is my social media.
And for power lifting I'd deff assume raw calories and carbs is more important. The ratios change for bodybuilding i believe cuz people are trying to change body comp with macro ratios. Which obv u know.
Oh yeah if anybody missed that it was a JOKE! These Teenage social media Gear Goblins are ruining their bodies and don’t even look decent doing it. They spew the most bullshit copy paste dumb advice I’ve ever heard and a TON of these kids are following it! My local supplement shop still sells racks of SARMs and I see kids starting RAD, MK, LGD, etc at like 16 because of some tiktoker or YouTuber! It truly is a huge problem. I highly suspect that is also partly why we get a huge influx 20 yr old’s on brand new accounts asking the STUPIDEST questions they could possible think of here.
Don’t get me wrong there are a select few huge influencers who truly preach harm reduction and are educated on the topics(MorePlatesMoreDates for example), but there is thousands of idiots with bad advice for every one of those educated guys. I try to spread my harm reduction knowledge to anyone that is curious, or that is at risk. If you see a kiddo getting that BS, or asking you advice on gear… be HONEST! Don’t be the guys we had 15-20 years ago selling kids shit and fucking them up…. Money comes and goes- life does not!
It might be the aids bro
Surely you have better things to be doing that giving hate to someone in need over a name!
And all the butt fuckin
That’s dark, lol
I happened to question myself on why would such a name be chosen
Yes very odd choice of name lol
I get the feeling he ain't returning to this page LOL
Whoa
You say 500mg per week Sustanon and 300mg/wk Deca pinned EOD - So what was in the barrel in terms of volumes on injection day?
What was your Bodyweight before and after the cycle?
I have a couple questions to help diagnose what "went wrong"
How were you tracking macros / calorie intake?
What was your desired rate of bodyweight gain? What adjustments did you make to intake if you found you werent hitting your target?
What sort of progression model did you use in your training (i.e. double progression w/ fixed volume? Increasing sets / proximity to failure ala RP? ETC.)?
I used MyFitnessPal to track calorie intake and I started at 83kg body weight and ended on 88kg.
Each week I would evaluate my macros based on my weight.
And in terms of strength gains I had them, just progressive overload each session either it be a extra rep or set
@Aids-n9 Sounds like you did everything (mostly) correct.
The weight gain you experienced is excellent, given the length of this cycle and the fact that your body composition remained about the same / slightly improved. Good job there! Also - if you were able to progress every week using a simple progression scheme such as the one you described, I would say your volume relative to your ability to recover was dosed correctly.
You asked for help, so here's my advice:
1) Adjust your expectations going forward. If you repeated this cycle 3 times per year, and had similar results, you would be 60 kilos bigger in 4 years. You would be a massive human. Obviously your gains will slow over time, and the amount of gear you will have to use in order to reach new peaks in muscular size will increase, but even if you put on 30 kilos in 4 years, you would still be dramatically bigger and stronger!
2) Run your cycle longer next time. Deca takes a long time to reach peak plasma levels - 10-12 weeks. If you had stayed on the gas until week 16 - 20, you would have been able to get a lot more out of your cycle. Deploy HCG if you are concerned about reductions in testicular size. Or, back to point 1 - accept that testicular atrophy comes with the territory.
3) Experiment with other compounds and see how it goes. Deca works very well for me for putting on size, but once I deployed it, I could note get my HPTA fully going again between cycles. If you find Deca works really well for you, consider running 150-300mg testosterone-only "bridging" phases for a few months in between cycles as opposed to trying to use drugs to get your natural production going again (aka PCT).
Overall, I think you are selling yourself short a bit here. We all have our genetically predetermined response to both training and pharmaceuticals, and you might be slightly on the left-hand side of the bell curve when it comes to both of those. Nothing you can do about that, but you can continue to train hard and to intelligently make use of PEDs to improve your outcomes. Keep at it, and look at these pictures in 2027. You will be amazed at how much more you resemble a professional bodybuilder.
Good luck my friend.
Agree!! Hes built like a hard gainer but the food is the big player for metabolism
In my opinion, you should’ve ran the cycle 16 weeks. The longer esters in those compunds don’t really kick in until later so you were just receiving the full benefit around week 8-10. Another month would’ve been great. If you were using different esters, 12 weeks is fine. Did you even wait 3 weeks for the decanoate to clear out of you before you jumped on pct ?
