Shortness of breath on Test …

ad

Hi,

Been on trt since April (had a 10 week cycle at 300mg to see what it did) but down to 130mg now. BUT I have what I think is a shortness of breath and a “feeling” in my chest, it doesn’t hurt but it wasn’t there before. My breathing is louder and my snoring is crazy. I’ve looked it up and some people do seem to get this. I’ve not got any of the benefits from trt that I was hoping. Could it be that I’m one of the ones it’s not suited to ? Thanks

Do you ever get the feeling you can't get a full breath?

100%. And I’m weezing after the most mundane physical thing. Strangely I can run 40 mins on a treadmill and do an hour of weights without feeling like that !!

This is my biggest concern.

Do you have a hernia? Any pain in stomach??

Dude listen to me. See a doctor. Don’t ignore stuff like this. It could be nothing. But it could be something big. Or it could be something very small but if you ignore it will turn into something big. Don’t take chances with your life. I’m guilty of the same things sometimes

Thanks. I’ve had a chest X-ray, prostate test and bloods taken, and they’ve all come back fine. I’m running out of things to tell the doctor. Just turned 50 so it looks to them like I’m becoming a hypochondriac !

It couldn’t be. There are currently no alternatives to TRT for general use cases. I think that Testosterone use has amplified your condition. You shouldn’t make any drastic conclusions. Most likely, your body is just not adapting quick enough to the therapy.

The guys have pointed out correctly the cause of these problems. You need to check the rheological properties of your blood and the level of hematocrit (first and foremost). The second, very important question is whether you are getting the necessary amount of pure water throughout the day. Most likely, you are not. Pay attention to it.

You haven’t mentioned what exactly you’ve used for therapy. There is a chance that the oil-based solution is giving you some allergic reaction. This doesn’t depend on the quality of the gear itself. The issue lies in formula, which can vary significantly between different manufacturers.

Test Cyp C - 200. 130mg a week. Taking in 3 pins a week as an attempt to micro dose a little bit.

I’m not bad on the water side of things.

Would changing my test supplier give me an option ?

Is there much of a difference between test cyp and test e ? Possible change to see if things improve ? I’ve just booked in to give blood.

There is a difference, but it very little of it. You wouldn't feel it even if you removed all the stickers from the bottles.

Get your bloods done … this is a sign of high RBC , Check your hematocrit level. If it’s high then this makes your blood thicker and makes it harder for your heart to bump blood your lungs and this causes shortness breath. Quick fix is to donate blood and stay on a donation schedule while your running gear

This. Get the bloodwork. If it’s super high donate blood. It just a little high drink more water and do more cardio.

If you don’t want to do that just keep donating blood every so often.

As far as trt it depends on what you’re hoping to get out of it. It isn’t a miracle medicine. If you’re low T you’ll feel better, but not like Superman like on cycle with a bunch of compounds.

I just feel normal on regular trt dose. My body works, my brain works, my dick works. Just like I’m normal and that’s fine. Felt like shit at 200ng/dl. Going from shit to alright feeling is good for me.

Felt pretty good on my 300mg cycle. Not superman but near that realm. I know that’s not sustainable though. Thought after reading about trt I was gonna turn in to Mr Motivator but sadly not. Maybe I’ve gone from feeling shit to ok, I can’t remember. Could there be an alternative to test cyp ?

Sounds like you just need more discipline. Nothing is going to make you want to do the things you don’t want to, but kind of have to do.

A test deficiency is going to kill your motivation, but getting back to normal doesn’t give you extra. It still has to come from within.

It gets easier the more you do whatever it is you don’t want to do if you just keep doing it consistently.

You got this brother!
