Cycle Advice without being a dick about it

ad

Although I'm far from being a newbie to the steroid world (57yo) , I am A newbie here. I spent a lot of time reading and I've come to a conclusion that there needs to be a new topic on the front page.
It could be called "Cycle Advice without being a dick about it"
I have read more people wanting advice and getting nothing From the comments. What's the point Being a dick to somebody who's trying to do it right?
I can assume after I post this the comments will tell the story. Lol!
Good luck to all the new guys, just try to read between the lines and don't take all that crap seriously

OP got real quiet after just receiving normal reactions on this topic. OP thought we were a bunch of wild gorillas trying to rage on everyone and everything lmao.

I will say that if you look at similar questions asked at different times, there can be a huge variance between the tone of one thread/response to another. Sometimes we say mock those who say their TRT is 200 mg/wk saying that’s a cycle, not TRT & other times no one blinks when someone states they’ve been on TRT for years on that dose. Sometimes people come looking for guidance and get banged up pretty bad before they manage to get help. I’m not about coddling people, but harm reduction & being an alpha male are kind of dichotomous. That being said, it hasn’t been the same since Rusty hasn’t been around……

I dont think i know how to give advice without being funny about it and coming off as a dick to those who take life too seriously.

It’s how you weed out the real ones from the fake ones. Real ones take the criticism even if it’s considered a bit straight forward and to the point (what bitch boys call being a dick) on the chin, gather information and move on to handling their business and end up being respected members on the boards. The fake ones throw temper tantrums because they are insecure and feel they have to lash out and put on a tough guy facade, run their ridiculous cycle because they think they know everything, and end up banished from the forums in short time anyways.

This is definitely a piece of it, even indirectly this is the effect it has. Look at how many accounts are created, ask one question and never return, even if there hands were held and everyone was nice. For a while If I saw a new guys question that was goin unanswered, I’d take my time to try and answer it fully, sometimes id even type out like long ass detailed answers really trying to help, they answer maybe once or twice and never be seen again. I don’t mind doing it if I have time, but I’d much rather help a guy who’s serious about it and actually willing to listen or take advice and really just can’t find his way through the mountains of info out there. So if a few guys go in there and rough em up first and last a few rounds, then I know he might be worth helping lol.

This is cognitive bias 101

-Affirmative bias is a cognitive bias that involves focusing on positive information while downplaying or ignoring negative information. It can be seen in various situations, including decision-making and communication.-

As long as you do your own homework and act like a semi normal adult Ive found nothing but good people here. Sure a few might come off strong handed but Id like to think we are mostly men here and can handle it and not get our panties in a bunch.

I can def understand people pushing back on outlandish cycles. I can understand people pushing back when 20yr olds come in wanting to do Tren. I can understand people pushing back when they are "asking for a friend"

If you show some knowledge that you have taken more than 15 min to put together a cycle or some level of inteligence when asking a question Ive seen nothing but helpful people.

I will admit we all have issues staying on topic though Smile

The new topic should be called don't come here asking for a co-sign on your ridiculous cycle suggestion.

I do not believe that anyone who asks for genuine advice doesn't get helped. Also educating yourself on the subject of steroids is really not that hard.

Rosschestzip's picture

Also it’s not the end of the world when someone does have horrible cycle ideas, the problem is when dudes offer advice and they argue and fight to the death to defend their horrible ideas and are a fucking douche about it
