Also use 30 grams Collagen Peptides ED, 1 scoop EAA's, 1 gram Vit C, MSM powder, Creatine (if you like it) everyday. All of these things help tendons recover and strengthen themselves in studies. Collagen peptides are essential as they contain more glycine and proline than normal whey protein does, which make up the triple helix structure of the tendon fibre if you look at magnified images of it. Its because it is made up of spirals that basically allow it to stretch like a spring does, but then it pulls itself back in when deloaded.

Yes for sure matey - Get some that is made up of Types 1 & 3 as this is what you need to be able to repair muscle tendons. Its all quite specific as to the type you need. Vitamin C will help your bodies own production of collagen and increases your absorption level as well as the MSM powder.

Here is the one I use for reference:

I think once we are over 35, whether you have an injury or not you should be taking a daily scoop of collagen in with your protein powder to keep your tendons strong and less prone to injury. They are constantly getting dryer as we age and also the fibres just do not heal as well after training, their alignment naturally gets worse within the tendon. If your training is important to you then its worth doing. Look at all these injuries we see on here especially pec and shoulder tears - its always in the tendon where the muscle joins to the bone. Tricep and bicep tears also - right near the elbow every time, its never across the belly of the muscle in the middle.

I’m using 7.5 mg of dbol for an aggravated hip do u think it would be wise to switch to 10mg of var? Low dose dbol has always helped me with miner injuries and aches and pains.
