+ 4 What are your tips for saving money on groceries and meals?

Over the last couple years my grocery bill has gone through the roof. To feed just myself and a dog i spend anywhere from $70-100/week at the grocery store pretty easily. So i'm looking for all you're tips & hacks for both getting groceries cheaper and meals that can be made on a budget while still being filling and reasonably good for getting in the macros/calories we're trying to get in.

What’s crazy is I don’t think their soldiers make any kind of decent money. They get paid and eat, better than the locals, but they’re not getting big bucks.

Gotta get yourself one of these freezers, 7cuft. Join one of the wholesale club markets and stock up when/with what goes on sale. I’m almost ready to go again. Separate the packaging and freeze. As far as our economy goes? There’s no easy way out. I’m pretty sure we’re fucked for a while and it may get worse before it gets better. I’m of the opinion that this country isn’t too far from going off the rails.

Cottage cheese, greek yoghurt is a good low cost protein' source and sardines. Sardines are usually sub $1.00 a tin and it is one of the most nutrient dense food you can get in a single serving. Also, potatoes, oats, peanut butter, and eggs are also affordable and you can do a lot with those to change it up.
I def go for some 2% cottage cheese as either a quick snack or as a side to something like a burger or sandwich. I love some cottage cheese. Im fortunate enough to have access to free eggs from a family neighbors chickens on a pretty regular basis. I go through about 18 eggs/wk or these days between breakfast and dinner. They're just so easy to make.
Here in the states I would simply say stop voting Democrat, cost of living has doubled the last 3 years

Things were so much better with the last administration. I’m not a huge Trump supporter, or even republican supporter for that matter. I vote libertarian. but things (economy/cost of living) were objectively better during his administration.

I’m not sure it’s only about votes. I’m not a conspiracy guy, but the fact you s that an overwhelming percentage, I mean by leaps and bounds, are males in the age bracket for military. Are we going to enlist them because most 18-25yo males we have these days are very far from being in any fighting condition, or will they be enlisted for another purpose altogether?
