Age 55 want to try my first cycle!

Hi I’m a 55 year old fit energetic adventurer.
Stats 81kg 180cm 10-12% body fat.
Been on a Nebido 2 monthly injection, supplied by my doctor & have regular blood work done.
I want to do a 2mth cycle that will compliment my existing Nebido injection.
( have asked my doctor for advice but as I live in the UK he was unwilling to supply this info)
So my question is what do I start with. I would like to inject say every 2 weeks.
I don’t want to go crazy I just want to build a bit more muscle. Also just want to keep it simple.
So just 1 product injected every 2 weeks would suit.
As this is all very new to me I would greatly appreciate some honest advice.

3 weeks into my first cycle, following Catalyst recommendation of 250 Sus per week.
Feeling great on it getting a good pump in the gym & much more energy & enthuasism for liftin weights.

Pinning every 2 wks isn’t a viable option imo…you’ve been advised below by catalyst as to the tried and true first cycle, and as far as that goes almost any cycle involving an ester of e or c…100% agree with him as to the dose….400mg per wk is plenty to get great results..depending on diet and workouts as to what results you will see as this is the main factor when doin a cycle…training and have shitty nutrition with gear = shitty results…..train with spot on nutrition for your end goals + gear…= keepable lean muscle
Have your training, nutrition, sleep, down to a science before hand , with the addition of the gear, results will happen….

Something along the lines of 400-500mg of test e or test c would be a good starting point. Nice and simple, no need to over complicate it. Injections twice per week. Typically run 10-12 weeks is the norm. No need for you to worry about PCT as I’m assuming you’ll return to your TRT regime afterwards. You’ll more than likely need an AI in case of estrogen creeping up, (Adex or Aromasin, preferably the latter).
Let me know if you need any more info / help etc.
Is it possible to run a cycle in conjunction with my TRT regime, As a top up so to speak.
I would prefer to stay on it & supplement it rather than replacing it.

For sure. Depending on what your TRT dosage is, you could certainly keep that and “top it up” effectively. Probably something along the lines of an extra 200-250mg per week of test.
The TRT dose is 1000mg every 8 weeks
So what is the difference between test e & test c?
So just do 2 1ml/cc shots a week and on that every other week that it's your trt dose only do one shot at 1ml/cc there is your 500mg Cycle over 10 weeks. Which testosterone does your Dr prescribe?? Is it test c or test e?
The half life on those are just about the same there really isn't any difference just personal preference. I think the half life is like a day difference or so
He's on Nebido. That's testosterone undecanoate. 1 shot every 8 weeks.
He said in op that he get 2 monthly shots thats 1 shot every 2nd week at 250mg that would be 1000mg in 8weeks
Yes I get 1 shot of Nebido evert 8 weeks. It’s a slow release therapy prescribed by a doctor.

I misunderstood what you meant, sorry bro. See if he will put you on test cyp. That's what my doctor has me on
I thought he meant "nebido 2" monthly injections. So once a month. Didnt know there was a nebido 1. Shows what i know know about legal stuff lol
I’m in the UK where these therapies are in their infancy.
Nebido is the only approved treatment atm. So I’m stuck with this.
That’s why I would like something to supplement it.
It’s not about going on a full blown cycle.
So I’d be inclined to run something like 200-250mg of test e / test c. Typicallly you’ll buy test in 200-300mg/ml dosage, so 1/2ml twice a week alongside your Nebido.

So my understanding so far is.
I take Nebido once every 8weeks, so after I’m injected my testosterone levels will increase dramatically for a few weeks than start to taper off.
So if I supplement with test c or test c 200mg/ml divided over 2 doses per week from week 3 to week 8?
Then receive my next Nebido & repeate the same cycle.
So that would be a 16 week regimen. Does that make sense.
Would I need to take any post cycle therapies?
Exactly, no because you are already on trt for the rest of your life so no need for pct

You do not need pct because that's what restarts your system after shutdown. You are on exogenous testosterone the rest of your life so you do not need to restart your natural system

Welcome to eroids. Reality is injecting every 2 weeks isn’t going to work. With long ester test, (enanthate, cypionate), you’re looking at twice per week. Any less frequently and your testosterone levels will be up and down do counterproductive. If you can live with that, we can give you some guidance but if not a cycle is probably not going to be for you.
