Ventrogluteal shots

ad

Hello all,
I have recently tried a ventrogluteal shot and I’m not sure if I was successful due to a lot of pain related to the injections site. Has anyone had success in this area or is it just a painful spot? Thank you for your advice in advance!

Totally thought I was gonna see a butt cheek or at least a boxer pull down. Nevermind I'm out

Anyone have a suggest for a reliable needle and syringe source? My state does not sell them currently. Iv used Med Lab gear in the past but it’s been a long time and don’t know if they are reliable.

Drol 250's picture

Healthwarehouse.com is ok. It’s stupid states and pharmacies that don’t sell them. My state it’s up to the pharmacist. So some will and some won’t the problem is people share needles when they can’t have easy access to them. Which then spreads diseases

GPZ services is the best place to get them. Super cheap and shipping is usually very quick. They've been in business for at least 15 years that know of.

I get mine on Amazon

Smalldawg11's picture

Really? I thought Amazon only sold blunt tip. Thanks!

Although the area is easy to inject, it can often result in some pain afterwards as if you are a side sleeper like myself, then the hip bone is effectively pushing on the injection area when you lay sideways. I find it can easily lump up and be painful. The more you inject your body over time the less this will happen, although its still all part of running steroids.

Smalldawg11's picture

Cool. Thanks for the info man. I never thought about the side sleeping part. The pain made me think I hit the wrong spot although my research told me otherwise.

DavosD's picture

Easiest and least painful spot to hit, 21G is ridiculous. 25G is the biggest I'd go for any injection. I prefer 27G though.

I inject that area 2x a week with a 23 gauge 1.5inch or a 25 gauge 1.5 inch. It takes some getting used to. Staying steady and injecting slowly and not forcing the oil through makes it near pain free with 3cc of oil. Just try staying still and injecting slowly. If it's a new injection site it's usually gonna not feel too great the first few times.

18ga x 4inches will hurt a teeny bit. How about fill us in on your full deal here. 4cc with 18ga x 4in and gear was frozen?

Smalldawg11's picture

I was using a 21 gauge x 1 inch needle and only .6 of a ml from a 3 ml syringe. 21 gauge is a little big. I will probably go smaller.

Makwa's picture

21 gauge is a little big

Maybe just a little bit ROFL

Lol

I don't even subject the stoppers on my vials to that sort of abuse Lol

Update. Ordered some freshies off Amazon. Times have changed. 5 years ago they only sold
Blunt tips.

Brother I think that's the reason it hurt!

It could be that the oil doesn't suit well with you but if you hit it elsewhere and it was pain free, it's most probably the needle.
I constantly do ventroglute completely pain free and I also did B12 to a friend that never had an injection and apart from the liquid going in, no pain at all a minute after injecting.
That's with a 23G x 1" needle.

Smalldawg11's picture

How do you like the B12 shots? Iv heard good things.

Kaido's picture

Didn't do them myself but to a friend who is natty, from what he says he feels much more energetic during the day.
He had a deficiency though.
I am curious to try too!

Smalldawg11's picture

Yeah my buddy used to do them. He loved them. Curious.

Rosschestzip's picture

Uhmmm A 21!!! Did you load it into a harpoon launcher first? And did you draw up with that needle also? No wonder your sore, that things a weapon

21g??? There’s your problem

Smalldawg11's picture

Yeah it’s a cannon, but I’m just using them until I get a smaller gauge. It’s been 6 years since my last cycle. So I was trying something different with what I had available. Going back to 23 gauge, maybe even 25.

godzillabooty94's picture

I use 25 and it’s beautiful

Rosschestzip's picture

Nowadays you don’t need a big needle to draw up with, the oils are smoother and thinner then back in the day. I just use a 25 to draw and inject. Well I draw with one and then swap a new one to inject but there both 25. I by boxes of 100 of those and 100 30 gauge for gh. I go through so many, especially when doing multiple gh shots a day, plus daily injects for a fast ester cycle. That’s like 120 a month of both types combined lol

JakeKO's picture

Stop using the 21g now. Things will only get worse. I use 25g x 1.5” that I get from Amazon in a day or two

Black90tsi's picture

You can order boxes of 100-150 tips in any size/length from amazon and have many of them the next day.

juiceball8082's picture

First time? Maybe virgin muscle.

Smalldawg11's picture

Yeah that might be the reason. It’s an odd spot but is popular for IM injections.

juiceball8082's picture

Takes some getting used to for sure

Rosschestzip's picture

It’s basically the only spot I use, well I’m not sure if it’s technically ventro, but I go kinda in between ventroglute and regular glute. I put my weight on that leg to kinda flex that area and find the upper side cheek that’s flexed and go in that slab of meat. And I do daily injections, alternating between left and righ cheek but also kinda rotating around that muscle also, so each shot isn’t in the exact same hole. But I have noticed there is a little area that it tends to be pretty sore the next day and feel almost like there’s a little pocket inside that traps it if I inject right into it. But glute and ventroglute are probably the two least painfully spots you can use. So it’s either the way you did it, some virgin muscle in that spot or the gear your using is more painful then others

Smalldawg11's picture

Yeah the ventroglute is basically your hip. There’s muscle there underneath the iliac crest, but maybe it’s because it’s the first time using that muscle. I just like to have multiple injection sites that I uses that’s why I wanted to try that spot. I’m gonna try again in a couple weeks. Thanks!

ForeverFitBod1's picture

Like are we not talking ass cheeks anymore? No homo

I'm wondering where exactly you pinned. I think I've done something similar before.
Those diagrams had me damn confused for a minute but hell that was a damn decade ago. For me ventro is still ass cheek but way upper/side quadrants. Sometimes the middle.

Pinning is 50/50. Mind over matter/Skill

You'll get there. It will be your favorite spot

Smalldawg11's picture

This would be ventroglute. Basically your hip.

Rosschestzip's picture

lol ya it’s the ass. But like the side ass. Like when you see a shredded bodybuilder on stage from the back and there glutes are flexed it’s the upper band that kinda wraps around toward the hip, so ya basically the upper side but really far side and kinda far up

Owes a Review × 1
Rosschestzip's picture

Ya that can definitely be the cause. You just gotta keep trying the same area after it heals and eventually it’ll get used to it. And it’s good to have multiple spots. I only use maybe two spots on each side and am doing daily injections so it kinda sucks and I’m going to have to start using new spots, but almost all the other ones make me nervous.

Smalldawg11's picture

The quads make me nervous but I will soon venture out to them. I enjoy the delts as well.

Kaido's picture

Quads are great if you get it right brother, you should definitely try!
I do them with a 25G, 5/8" needle to the vastus lateralis and it hurt only the first few times, now I don't even feel it.
Make sure to go slowly in and to the middle and lateral part of this lateral muscle lol
Second injection I did it more towards the center than I should and hit a nerve. It really sucked.

Smalldawg11's picture

Iv done the same thing. Could barely walk. The quads are a large muscle but our femoral artery runs right through that shit. Scary lol. I never used less than a 1 inch needle.

press1's picture

I use to do Teardrops a lot of years ago, sat on the sofa and leg out on the footstool. One time went in as normal and pulled out, as soon as I pulled out the sofa underneath my leg went really wet and I looked down and I had gone straight through one of the big arteries and the fcker ran like a river, it was horrific. Had to stay laid down for 10 minutes it made me feel so ill Lol Never done it again after that, and yeh the electric pain leg jolts from hitting a nerve are the worst!!

Rosschestzip's picture

Everyone’s horror story about injections is always in the leg, I don’t think I’ve ever actually done a quad injection actually. I’m too nervous man

Smalldawg11's picture

I’d be mortified bro.

Rosschestzip's picture

Quads, lats and traps are a no go for me. Glutes and delts are the only ones I’ll use. I’ve only done delts a hand full of times but I would do it again

Yeah I’m not sure if I would do last either lol.
