+ 1 Shingles Update - Vaccinations available

ad

I had a bit of a breakdown in September of 2022 due to a shit ass car dealership I was working for, so I took a few months off... always felt dealerships were crooked, but this was worse..... I took more an more time off and then this.... Doctors said it is extreme, they never seen a case like it, but I seen cases in the mouth, under the armpit, in the neck since searching..... nothing is more painful! I did more/took less meds., took scripts.... best is codeine..... is shit, but keeps heart rate normal... In a drug free life, my BP is 90/64, I can barely get out of bed without passing out, that is normal, doctor says I'll live a long time, just dizzy. I been off roids, including prescription over on year any me heart rate is 160/110, that is hypertension... no job, healthy diet, alcohol free..... the scars from my shingles are so severe, they go to the bone.

Been working with a hernia for a few years, had an umbelical repair decade ago, no big deal.. this one was looking better, though I know they dont heal. I did a contest went down to 83kg... could not even see it,,,,heavy sled presses reminded me, but squats were fine. Anyhow, the pain from these shingles is so severe, I rescheduled my hernia.... keep in mind, I know they never get better, but it looked even, even after gaining back 10 kg......Double Hernia...... oh

Yup, sides looked even because they are both busted, this time, mesh.... not so sure after reports, but they got it sorted????????????? Input welcomed here.

I'm going private, but mesh.... didn't this fuck up about 100,000 women worldwide? Yeah, man, but same mesh.

For the record.... shingles.... listed as a 2-4 week disease after chicken pox.... maybe if normal, but be aware, it can take your life over.... I actually was sent to Emergency room for tests after chest pains..... whole other story for interested parties... DM me, but they give Amyltriptolent, Gabaptntine, Duluxotine, for nerve pain.... none of which I get along with.... I have survived 7-med-related arrests..... skip the nerve blockers.... this was CLEAN.... my last test report was 19.... yes 19 ng/mol.... I took my Nebido, but nothing more as last surgery was cancelled for high RBC... was hitting test then.... we always know...

Just when you think you have it... oddity cancels your knowledge.... acknowledged.

Ouch. Looks horrible. A few years ago a friend got it and he was miserable. Others I know shared horror stories as well. Scared me enough to go an get the vaccine. Got the first dose and 24 hours or so later I was the sickest I’ve been in my life. Coincidence? Maybe. But it terrified me enough that I didn’t go back for the second.

That is the reason I am hesitant to get the vaccine. Everytime I get a vaccine I get sick as a dog. Get the flu shot I am out of work for 3-4 due to flu symptoms. Never fails. Same with covid vaccine. Sick as a dog for a week after. Can't imagine it would be any different than the shingles vac, or maybe it would be, but past experiences with vaccines has not been good for me.

Did you get the Covid Jab after you had the real Covid or before it?

Makwa's picture

Got it after. Had 3 covid boosters before I got it. Given how sick I got with the actual virus though, my doc said you probably would have died without the boosters.

Yeah blimey - You would think after how badly and long you had actual Covid that when getting the vaccine it wouldn't have any effect on you. Just shows how deeply it can affect some people more than others - I remember thinking if I had a bad heart or lung problem covid could easily kill you. My Heart was racing more than when I use to use Trenbolone!! Choking and puking up lung mucus for a solid week was the worst part of it though, it was making eating difficult it was so frequent.

I ended up with double lung pneumonia and fluid buildup around my heart. I was in for a checkup a while back and complained about this chronic cough I had and always having to clear my throat. Took chest x-rays and the doc said everything still looks pretty much what it did when they x-rayed my chest during covid over a year ago. Not pneumonia anymore but some kind of permanent scarring in my lungs and still fluid build up around the heart. Sad

Shit Mate really?!? Well I really hope it improves for you bud. I was reading this heartbreaking story in the UK news the other day, young mother that has now had Long Covid for 18 months now which just keeps getting worse and worse. She is bed ridden 24hrs a day and has to stay layed down now to do everything - Eat, go to the toilet, can no longer care for her children. She is trying to raise £10,000 to travel to Switzerland for assisted suicide as she can take no more of how it is making her feel.

Damn! I can just imagine the pain from that. My doc is trying to convince to get the shingles vaccine. I should probably take his advice.

That's way bigger than mine was so I know you've got to be hurting brother. The wird thing about shingles is there is no warning I went to work feeling fine an hour later sat down and felt searing pain. A patch of blisters had come up and popped when I sat down. They got infected and left a scar right above my butt cheek on my lower back. Hope yours isn't gonna do that. Get well soon

When I was 36 I worked for Asplundh tree service. I had what I thought was a bad case of very painful poison ivy for three weeks and complained to my then girlfriend who called me a pussy and then went to the doctor and what do you know? It was shingles… I had it in the same place but not as spread out just in a line like a thick knot. They gave me a steroid shot and sent me home. I was 60 feet up in the trees the next day. I had that shit for six weeks and only missed one day of work. When I got home from work I’d collapse and curl up in a ball and not move until the next morning the pain was so bad. Mine was just about half as bad as in this pick and it was horrible so this guy here is in HELL ladies and gentlemen. I’ll pray for you brother. I still have scars from that nightmarish shit that looks like I was hit with a scatter gun.

I’m so sorry, Bro! That’s horrible

I been down over a year, test is as stated..19.... not messed with anyone. The physical part struck in March... and still goes on.... but trust me one thing.... I'll live. NOT ONE doctor has failed to say, it is the worst case they ever seen... I remember.... when bed ridden, over summer, fans took the sheets up, they landed like birdshot in my gut..... assuming one has been hit by such. I'll live, but this has been horrible!
