+ 1 Cystic Back Acne

ad

Looking for advice/guidance. Have been doing TRT 600mg/week cycle for 5 months and was NOT taking Arimidex (confusion from multiple sources whether or not to use). I have been breaking out in cystic acne on my back which has now moved to my chest. I am currently going to lower my dose to 150/mg week and have added the Arimidex now. Has anyone has this issue and if so, how did you resolve it? What is your dosing. I'm ready to start on accutane but would like to only be on it as little/quick as possible. I've tried body washes and acne patches. Not sure if this is just throwing my body into an extreme high level and causing oil glands to go crazy.

Thanks for any help.

It's all about hormone balance, that's why teens break out like crazy. Cycling is tough on the body and hormone levels are ALL over the place. Especially at cycle start and end. That's why a good AI needs to be implemented. Personally I drop in ADEX mid cycle when I feel my levels peeking just long enough to get a handle on my esto. I then drop it back in at cycle end the same week I start to taper. Everyone is different so I am just saying what works for me.
Scrubs help with oil removal but nip the problem in the bud early It's all about hormone balance IMO. As for Accutane its hash stuff and the liver takes a enough of a beating during the cycle. I would steer clear from that drug.

A back scrubber and dawn dish detergent, doesn’t take much. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. I had a dbol incident a long while ago, Cortizone was my best friend for a couple days, but that subsided after the drug was out of my system. Depending on severity, he may need that as well.

Christ man, please do some research.

Ya gotta read the whole thread, Bro. It’s a chick trying to get info for her boyfriend. He’s telling her it’s TRT for obvious reasons. I think she learned a lot today.

I always had oily skin and pimples when taking gear but the past few years it got worse, i will get large deep pimples on my face, forehead, even had some really big ones on my chest. They started deep, lasted a long time and it was nasty when they finally came to a head. I finally tried accutane earlier this year or maybe last year and it completely cleared everything up, no more oily face nevermind pimples. I only took 1 tab a day. I want to say by the end of the 2nd week to week 3 is when I noticed my skin was much clearer, no more large pimples. It just got better from there and stayed that way, until i stopped. Then it came back around 2 weeks after stopping. I then got 50 more tabs and took it 1 tab a day and it cleared everything up completely. I stopped and im not currently taking anything and my skin is good. Im definetly ordering more for when I do another cycle, I think its a must for me personally. It 100% worked for me, I think its a great medication. I think in my last or second to last review i wrote about it, how i feel it was the best med i took because of what it does. Forgot to mention i did not notice any negative side effects, none. I was expecting dry lips from what I had read but nope, I did not notice anything and would take it again in a second. Just the 1 tab a day.

Ill also add that i did try to prevent acne, 2 showers a day, always washing my face, benzoil peroxide face wash, change sheets/pillow cases daily. I just could not control it.

Accutane can have some shitty side effects. I suggest he possibly try doxycycline first before accutane. Also I’d avoid UGL accutane, if it’s not a gel capsule it degrades rapidly.

ForeverFitBod1's picture

I tried it once, I only lasted about 6 weeks until my lips were cracked and bleeding. I started at 40 mg, try to drop to 20 to get them to heal. No dice. I stopped at the 6-week mark. For about the next year I dealt with the most uncomfortable dry cracking and lips. Once you develop a good one or split in the lip. It can be very very hard to get that to heal. Never mind the uncomfortable feeling and not being able to eat properly it was probably the worst mistake I've made during this career in the hobby. I will never ever touch that stuff again with a 100-ft pole

The other problem is taking those gel caps, the stuff is so strong whatever is in it well sweat out of your skin and stain your shirts around the collar and or any hat or head where that you wear. Literally gross stuff

Good thing I’m not prone to acne that sounds awful. Everyone I know who’s on it says the same shit. Just constantly applying balm to their lips 24/7 lol. I think it can fuck with you mentally as well. I’m sure it mixes well with Tren.

“Should I take”.

None, it’s for your boyfriend isn’t it? Doesn’t add up this thread.

just typo writing in first person. All these questions are for a 50 year old man taking TRT trying to get a good dosage and cystic acne on back under control.

Female TRT at 600mg for 5 months? Don’t know about anyone else but I’m confused….

I am posting for my bf.

That makes a difference…..

DeeMan's picture

I assume you're a woman but what's confusing is 600mg/wk! And for 5 months? That's not trt, that's full cycle. 600mg/wk wouldn't put your testosterone level in the normal or even slightly above normal range, you'd be beyond that range. If this was in normal range then it would be trt but this is far from trt. So that's interesting. Anyways the sweat glands tend to be more active when testosterone levels increase so when bathing you have to basically soap up and wash well. Also like the guys mentioned below, alcohol will not only kill bacteria on skin but will also dissolve pore clogging oils which form acne. Remember during this time hygiene has to be next level. You might have to spend extra time in the shower.

ForeverFitBod1's picture

Agreed always give a person a benefit without or a chance to explain themselves before judgment. After all they have come looking for help

Yeah man luckily my dollar store around here sells rubbing alcohol that comes in a 50% version. So no more having to cut the 70%. Way better than using any toner which has a ton of stuff in it that actually can clog the pores more. It's a good thing you mentioned that. Sometimes acne can become a mix of it bacterial and fungal, getting some ketacanozole shampoo and lathering that up and letting it sit a few minutes before rinsing it off, helps. If you can find the 2%, you're lucky because that usually comes in prescription

That’s a long time to be running that much test without an AI, but here is a basic question that so many people completely overlook. How often do you wash you bed sheets? Do you use TIDE detergent when you do? First, be sure to wash them at least once per week. A lot of guys neglect to do so, and the time between washes can definitely cause cystic acne. I asked about the detergent because it was causing cystic acne for me when I first started cycling. Not even the doctor could figure it out. I read somewhere that some people are allergic to TIDE, so I switched to Arm & Hammer clear. Acne was gone in the first week. Stay away from Accutane unless it’s absolutely necessary.

ChrissyA's picture

thank you. we are washing in Purcell but will switch to a clear one and see if that helps out too. That is why I'm here, trying to find a solution before using Accutane. Already had a cyst under armpit that had to be drained and antibiotic.

Have been doing TRT 600mg/week cycle for 5 months

Hahahaha!

ForeverFitBod1's picture

I don't think poking fun at a person really brings any help or any benefit, does it? After all they mentioned a learning curve and have been polite

Like sometimes when I give people advice about growing pot they get the terminology mixed up. If they keep coming up with posts over and over without doing any research or attempting to learn or get things right then I could see the chastisement being fit. Otherwise I'm going to balance out that neg. they got until we know further about the situation

I really like this kinder approach rather than the locker room ridicule we sometimes dole out here on Eroids. I’m pleased to see this.

Kinda lost but it says female on 600mg a week trt. Did i do something wrong?

JakeKO's picture

Nah, but do they really deserve the neg for asking for help? We’ve all made dumb mistakes over the years. With your wealth of cycling knowledge, wouldn’t it make more sense to suggest a solution instead of writing a snarky remark, and negging the post??

ForeverFitBod1's picture

I'm with you there

At the end of the post it says "thanks for any help"

Just hoping the ghost of Rusty hasn't come back to feed their big headed ego at the expense of members looking for actual help or to learn

I just posted above and then saw your post. Which I'm glad you stepped up

It's definitely okay to inquire about what they are posting but let them give a chance to respond, right?

TRT OHhhh no. Time to pounce. What part of learning curve does jockstrap not understand. I'm not trying to be rude, just normal. Maybe time to toss that dirty jockstrap in the washer lol jkjk

Why is a female on 600mg a week as trt? Thats odd. I know females noted as females running 2000mg a week and post it as such. Imaginary cognito? Id be more worried as a female to hirstuism, hairy growth, and heart issues. Reeks of someone playing funny. Why didnt anyone else question it? Soap choice is really a female issue?

My gf runs prop at 100mg eod with anavar 10mg for 6 weeks and she stops.

47 year old female....hmmm...maybe i should learn?

JakeKO's picture

Also, keep in mind, Jockstraps support, JockItch is irritating. Don’t be a JockItch, LOL.

JakeKO's picture

All the questions you just asked are valid, and would make sense to ask in order to better understand, and educate the new member. Turns out that she is a concerned girlfriend trying to get some help because they are desperate at this point. Can you imagine how much they are suffering with this? You, of all people, would be the first to warn them to get bloods done prior to entertaining Accutane, and that would be great advice. Your knowledge is very valuable to this forum, Russ. Even I learned a lot from you. It’s all in your delivery, Bro! We were probably all thinking the same thing, but we decided to help, and you decided to hurt. Don’t do that shit! Everyone loses when you do, especially you.

DeeMan's picture

@JakeKO @Jockstrap so are you Rusty? Jake has been saying that for awhile and you haven't denied this. You did a review for an src that Rusty didn't like.

Jockstrap's picture

I do not know who that person is and its creepy to be followed like this. I read that he noted and gave a full page cuss out of some lundgren guy claiming he was rusty. Its quite off putting to be in an online community with such an erratic and toxic individual.

DeeMan's picture

Most would agree with your last sentence. Thanks for reply

Jockstrap's picture

So here on this site its normal and acceptable for jake to act as such? I left muscle gurus to come here because theres more activity. And this is eroids style. Sad

Sounding more like Rusty each and every day.

Jake is a good guy, it's his alter ego Vinny Luciano...the BAD GUY!

DeeMan's picture

Haha arch rivals! You finally solved the Hooker case huh?

JakeKO's picture

Oh, it’s him, and that is his favorite HGH source. His only reviews were for the orange tops. Big advocate of them and the grey tops. I don’t really mind if it’s him, but he should try not to be a douche this time.

So your "girlfriend" runs testosterone. Yet here you are giving another female issues over running testosterone. Hmmm is right

Are you a help or a hinder.
I'd be thinking more about that before you jump into another person's life with assumptions

Lol.."you are a help or hinder"..true.

I'm not use to a woman using more testosterone than I use though lol. Damn!
Just saying.

Not normal, but in today’s transgender friendly world, some women are so desperate to become men right away, so they go above and beyond their prescribed dosages to try to get there faster. Just like a lot of guys running grams per week of Test to grow faster, hurting themselves in the process. Turns out this is a girl trying to help her boyfriend. Can you imagine when she goes back to her boyfriend suggesting he drop his dosage down to 150mg per week???? I would love to be a fly on that wall, LOL! With those kind of break outs, he’s probably running a lot more than 600mg per week, he probably told her 600mg to prevent a huge argument. If my wife knew how many different compounds and milligrams I’ve run when blasting, she’d probably grab all my gear and throw it in a river while I’m at work, LOL. Luckily, I found Eroids and guys like you to educate me, and guide me in the right direction, leading me to greater gains, running less gear. Go figure, LOL. Even Rusty helped me, or should we refer to him as JockItch now, LOL

DeeMan's picture

Yea I thought about your transgender comment at one point earlier. But yea that's how it is sometimes.

Lol you and this Jock dude...2 alter egos. Vinny and Jock!!

And hey man thanks but WE ALL HELP each other out. No doubt
