+ 21 Just a little reminder that anything is possible

ad

Guys please take it easy on me. I am certainly not a mass monster like some of the guys on here. I still look in the mirror and see a fat slob. I worked out all my life was always in great shape. Life got the best of me. I was over 300 lbs of pure fat. I had enough. I made a change. I got back into my old lifestyle. Discipline. Dedication. Hard work. No rest days. 2 hours a day 7 days a week. Up at 5am. I’m not happy with where i am yet but I’m still trying at 49 years old. It’s really hard for me to post these pics because I’m very insecure about my body. But maybe I can help inspire someone and show them change is possible. Thank you eroids for the support and inspiration to get me here these past 2 years. God bless you guys.

Ya it gets tougher as we get older but it looks like dedication hard work and following a strict routine put you back on track. Good on you when you had enough you put the work in and didn't just say I need to get in shape. We all know those people who just talk and talk and talk and never take action. +1

Haze421's picture

Yes sir I was disgusted with the way i looked a felt. I didn’t recognize the guy in the mirror and the switch just went off. No one thought i could get to this point and I had to prove them wrong. When i do something i always give it 110% and I won’t give up and never change this lifestyle again. Thank you bro

Haze421's picture

Thank you brother I appreciate the positive reinforcement. I’m at the gym right now and this post is just making me push harder.

SimonM84's picture

Very inspiring. Kudos to you for correcting the course. Now you just need to continue this momentum.

Thank you bro not stopping till the day i die.

Hard work and dedication along with determination and persistence will get you to where you wanna be…..and let’s all not bullshit ourselves the gear helps trenmendously….see what I did there lol sorry couldn’t help myself anyway yes people ask me all the time how the hell do I look the way I look at 45…..and I never give them a bullshit Liver King answer. If I was ashamed of doing gear I wouldn’t be doing it getting real tired of fake and phony “celebrities” or even gym folk telling people all they need to do is eat this or that and train like “this” leaving out the fact they on shitloads or even “TrT” doses of gears….seriously good for you brother and have no shame it will keep you struggling and take you to a bad place quick…

Yes sir the trt helps but it all comes down to hard work and diet. There is no magic gear out there and less is definitely more. When i was younger i could tolerate the high doses but now i keep things modest.

No no brother I wasn’t jabbing at you at all man not even a little bit….you should absolutely be proud of what you have accomplished ya look great….no homo

+1 great job. People ask me all the time "how do you look like that?" And my answer is always the same, "consistency". If you continue to do the right things, rights habbits, eating, training and rest you will progress. Keep it up buddy

Haze421's picture

Yes sir it’s definitely a lifestyle. I try to push myself a little harder everyday. Diet is key. Training and consistency for sure. I just feel guilty taking rest days. I’m drawn to the gym in the morning, I just have to go. Thank you bro.

Honestly i make the time. Up at 5am sometimes earlier. In the shower by 8am and off to work till 8pm everyday but Sunday. But i still workout of my day off of course lol. Time was always my biggest excuse. Thanks for the plus !

Mac12769's picture

I’m generally up at 4a, up before my farm animals. Never time to sleep. I do sets while watching the news, kids are asleep, at work, etc. still not enough. We make the time and you’re showing it.
Kudos.

Nobody here is going to knock your progress. You have done amazing work and you've stuck with it. Just keep on rolling and you'll get where you want to be. The only competition is the man you see in the mirror. Don't worry about someone else.

Haze421's picture

Thank you brother. This has been a very emotional journey for me. I was rock bottom and somehow gave myself the motivation to get to this point. And god willing i will get to where i want to be.

Badgoat1's picture

Trust me I've been there I posted up my story a few months back about how depression and covid whipped my ass. And I ballooned up to 270. I knownhow hard the struggle is.

Nattyboomba's picture

My man, you look great. I have a lot of respect for your work ethic, but maybe even more for your honesty & putting these pics up despite being uncomfortable. Body dysmorphia is powerful, & it can be very difficult for us to see us how we truly are. And getting this done at any point in one’s life is truly impressive, but this type of change at 49 is inspirational. You’ve put on a lot of very solid weight there while losing a ton of fat. Really man, this is what it’s all about. I’d like to see more of this.

Haze421's picture

Thank you brother. I definitely have body dysmorphia. I hate what i see in the mirror no matter how much progress i have made. I lost 100lbs of fat and then gained 30lbs back but kind of in the right places. My wife hates how many times i ask her if i look fat in this shirt or if my arms got bigger. Even with all the compliments and people asking me if i goto the gym and i look good I’ll never be happy and keep pushing forward till the day i die. I hope one day to be where i want to be but until that day I’ll keep pushing

Buddy you have nothing at all to be ashamed about - you have made some Great progress there my man Good

That's some Dedication too, I couldn't get up at 5am every morning and train for 2 hours 7 days a week! Keep going at it and never stop - if you want things bad enough in life you can always get there.

Haze421's picture

Thank you bro. I appreciate the kind words. Trying my best everyday to get to where i used to be.
