+ 6 Opinion of society today

ad

So this post doesn't need any karma votes so please no need to up vote. I recieved a comment from @Drexyl and @Glitch about what they thought society was like today. I have to admit they made damn good points. This is just general talk and I didn't want to clog up a certain src's SI with this topic so I decided to post this. In my opinion, I'm beyond blaming any political party or race for the chaos that has taken place among society. Not to be negative but I don't think things will ever go back to how things use to be. We've definitely lost our way and it seems that this is becoming acceptable among us. I do agree with drexyl that it seems that covid started a domino affect for chaos and violence. If anyone of you agree or disagree please feel free to voice your opinion. I'd definitely like to hear you out. I don't blame any political party or race..I blame evil, along with lies and misinformation.

The founding fathers wrote over and over again that we would all be fucked if we allowed this country to have a central bank, and if we traded freedom for "safety" and "security".

Those who would give up essential liberty for a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty or safety.

In ancient times man saw forces outside of himself. Words like Spirit and demon connotate a mystery and awe. In ancient times a demon would have his grips on you or a society, or the holy spirit would descend upon the people. We have sterilized the language of the Ancients and replaced such words with Zeitgeist.

We have killed angels and soul and replaced it with ego, ID, super-ego, Logos, Pathos and other such scientific explanations. The reality of God was as unquestionable as the reality of Gravity. Today, at best, most dance around the idea with some sort of new age spiritualism, or "enlightened self".

What I see happening around me doesn't mesh with what I'm being told. Turn off the news. Anything important will reach your ears, the rest is kabuki theater. Refuse to feed the demon that is influencing us.

This Zeitgeist is a divisive one. Divided we are legion... “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.”

In regards to my comment below about what I saw. This was in a nice quite surburb of a big City.

Makwa's picture

I live in the sticks here with a bunch of hillbillies and don't have to deal with all this fuckery on a local level. Mostly hear about how the world is going to hell in handbag everywhere else on the national news. I think we don't have to deal with all this in my neck of the woods because of several factors. Everyone here has a concealed carry permit and respects what that means. No body comes on your property without your knowledge if they don't know you. It is legal here to basically shoot first and ask questions later if someone trespasses on your property. it previously was illegal to shoot them in the back because that meant they were either leaving or fleeing at the time and no longer posed a threat. That has now changed and it is legal to shoot them in the back. People are not outlaws here but they respect your rights and property and know they just can't come and take shit without there being any consequences. LEO, they are a joke. Us PEOPLE with the rights given to us are keeping the law and order around here for the most part.

Every once in a while, you will see a few cuckoos protesting with their signs on the corner at the one stop-and- go light we have in town about gay rights, BLM (all lives matter by the way, no reason to single anyone out), or whatever the latest hot topic in the news seems to be. We just honk and wave and they are gone the next day. Nobody around here drinks Bud Light anyway so that whole issue is a moot point.

It is nice to live the simple life here where you know everyone at church and don't have to worry about if some dude is going into the girls bathroom at the high school because he thinks he is a girl. I would never survive a large city nor would i ever want to let my grand-daughter grow up in that kind of environment, so I hope all this fuckery everywhere else does get sorted out for her benefit. Fingers crossed that my paradise here lasts. I'm getting to old to stress out over all that crap.

ONESICK's picture

I had to move out of my home state as how corrupt it is. How ass backwards they are going and over the last decade has gone down hill. BLM, torched and vandalized a lot of property back around the 2020 election. Where you can't really defend your property because gun laws are a gray area. You don't know if you'll be arrested or not even if you have a carry license.

Now I moved somewhere you have constitutional carry. You can defend what is yours with very little issue. It isn't a large city but in a state where you are free to carry. People definitely are a bit more polite than where I was from.

DeeMan's picture

You read my comment right below? Damn shame

DeeMan's picture

Gotta admit some folks have acted a complete ass with the open carry law. Just awhile back I heard the true story of this mother who came outside and asked this guy to please stop shooting his pistol because her baby was asleep. What did this rediculous jack ass do? He got upset and shot and killed that mother. This really happened

ONESICK's picture

Missed it, yeah my home state is too gray with their open carry laws. I would never even consider it. A lot of dummies who don't know the law thinking they can shoot whoever under any circumstance.

DeeMan's picture

It's like the wild wild west to some though

DeeMan's picture

If you guys knew my state you'd know we don't bullshit around

ONESICK's picture

Same here lol

ONESICK's picture

Not to go down the rabbit hole but this has been the plan for a long time, decades. I have a buddy who happens to know some people tell me some things. But the plan for this to happen was originally aimed at 2012 around the re-election of Obama. Around the time when all the racial stuff started happening more and more. Then when Obama insulted Trump, Trump was like fuck you I'm running. They tried so hard to get Hillary in office. Then everyone lost their shit when Trump won. Spent 4 years making him look like a bad guy because he exposed the system on how corrupt it was. How they rigged the primaries to keep Sanders from winning. But they didn't expect Trump to win.

Believe it or not he was the best president we'll ever have. Regardless of how you feel about him. He couldn't run as an independent as he wouldn't get the votes. 2020, some people I talked to legit feel the pandemic was planned. Basically, as a way to see how much control the government can get over people. How many people fell in line over "safety". Shit just went on from there the last few years.

All while this is going on, you have all the alphabets pushing their agenda. Being a MAN is bad as it's seen as toxic. It's ok to give children hormones. Testosterone is seen as being evil. Disney admitting they do have a gay agenda. Everyone's feelings are more important than actual facts. You have men competing in women's sports. Guns are bad but nobody is held accountable for their actions. To conquer a nation, you divide it. This is what they want. Whoever that may be there are entities who want to cause chaos to have control.

DeeMan's picture

I feel ya. Good point. You already know how I feel. I think Pelosi, Biden, Trump or Harris are all no good. Along with all DC. In my opinion none of them are worthy of the Presidency

SimonM84's picture

Best presidents are dead ones

DeeMan's picture

Brother I gotta be honest. I'm independent and I just think evil is well within both parties. I love this country but truth is truth. Folks talked about Trump, talked about Obama and they'll keep talking. So much misinformation and lies it's a damn shame man.

Makwa's picture

Problem is there is no one sitting in the middle anymore. Both parties are extremists now which is a damn shame. There is no debating. Both sides are just adamant that the other party is completely wrong and they will do anything in their power to sabotage each other, no matter how damaging that may be for the nation. I'm right, your wrong, who cares what happens average joe trying to make a living and raise his kids properly. There is no such thing as a healthy debate anymore in politics. Look back at the Bush and Regan eras. The parties had their differences, but they worked together for the most part to make this nation better. None of this fuckery was going on back then. Now both parties are wearing tin hats making America look like a joke.

DeeMan's picture

So I'm pretty damn good at seeing threw all the smooth talking politics. I'm not liberal or conservative but truly down the middle. I know that Washing DC has definitely forgotten about the average Joe no doubt. Thing is the hard working average Joe has made this country what it is and not those sorry pathetic politicians. But somehow this has been forgotten by them for some odd reason. See I look for truth and I look past delusions. That's always been my gift, so it's easy for me to call something out but not so easy for alot of delusional folks unfortunately. It's sad man. There are ALOT of delusional folks, that's my point and there's no persuading, convincing or even talking sense to them, none!

Makwa's picture

To many people now wearing tin hats just like there chosen party. Just sheep now being led to the slaughter. Nobody seems to think for themselves anymore.

DeeMan's picture

Nope they don't. I can't stand a liar and even worse is I can't stand folks that believe in obvious lies. Brain washing at its best.

ONESICK's picture

Today they're two sides of the same coin. They're both corrupt, most parties to be honest. I don't vote, I have never voted. I have my reasons....people give me shit but I really don't care. How facebook and twitter were told by the feds to meddle in the election to get Trump out of office. Shit is fucked. All the alphabet agencies manipulate the masses because they want control. Big corps want control, elites want control.

DeeMan's picture

I honestly look at it this way, if Trump was cheated and facts prove that then he should definitely be in office and if Trump truly lost with no evidence of cheating, then he shouldn't be in office. The problem lies when folks start to lie and make false claims. I want evidence one way or the other. I want that evidence! See alot of folks could care less about evidence

ONESICK's picture

When Elon bought twitter and released all the emails. How the FBI used Twitter to block information from being shared and to target those who supported Trump and silence them. That's 100% meddling in the election. Basically all the agencies...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBrBugGXqMc

DeeMan's picture

Hey facts don't lie, folks do. This doesn't surprise me or shouldn't surprise anyone. If we only knew the majority of what's really going on between the 2 parties we'd go crazy seriously. One party says something about the other to distract us. I keep my eyes focused, never blinking.

ONESICK's picture

George Washington, the only president to run independent warned us about the party system. How the US should not be run by parties and let them divide us. I look at all sides always. I listen to everything. I pay attention to trends. Are these trends distractions. I dunno man, shit's fucked and will be fucked. The people whistle blow are told to come forward but then punished for doing so. Exposing a corrupt system is seen as bad. Governments weaponizing social media to divide us further. How more people aren't outraged by this is mind blowing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2Y_Rjd-sA4

DeeMan's picture

Yep Washington did warn us about the party system. We really paid attention and listened didn't we? Just imagine if we did listen. It's like this..just like some folks will go to hell, some folks will fall for the political foolishness, plain and simple. As if they are just destined for it. They can't help themselves even if they tried to. Harsh I know

Drexyl's picture

One could say that many of the things they’re allowing and doing are to disgust the strong people into the thinking of the country as it stands isn’t worth fighting or dying for. Who in their right mind would give up their life to protect the way things are now. They have essentially forced a non violent submission, just by allowing and encouraging the perverse. Next step will be disarming, so the few left with fight in them won’t be difficult to handle. It’s genius if you give it some thought.

They are trying to normalize the abnormal. I live in a very conservative area. Where they don't tolerate that BS. Not that there aren't some here that don't try to start some shit. But there are those here who wouldn't hesitate to fight for this country. Calling someone a fag is pretty normal in my area of work and the libs would lose their shit lol. I think they underestimate people who would fight for this country.

DeeMan's picture

Man I haven't used that word since I was a kid seriously haha

Let me just say this. 100% true. I was coming out of grocery store the other day and a young guy that I knew from the gym yells my name. He's mid 20's or so. I'm older than he is. Anyways I walk up to his car and sitting inside are 2 other young guys, one with a handgun in his lap and the other guy with a medium sized automatic weapon by his side on the seat. The bad part about all this is that this was in broad daylight, and they weren't trying to hide anything. Keep in mind this is in a nice quite town. Just craziness. The whole time that guy that I knew from gym was asking me about working out and supplements, acting as if a big ass gun isn't in his back seat and acting as if I didn't see it lol. Needless to say I couldn't focus. I kept conversation short and walked away. These are the times we're living in.

Sounds like a westcoast USA to me, lead me astray? Been there half a year ago, was suprised how much it changed to worse in terms of violence, ilegal substances in the public places, open carry and overal feel of wellbeing...

DeeMan's picture

My suburb isn't a bad place to live. I'd say average, nothing crazy with crime.

DeeMan's picture

Nahh I don't live on the west coast but the chaos and foolishness spreading everywhere

When I’m not working my .357 is always very very close to me if you know what I’m saying. 3 hollow points 2 FMJ. Glock .40 in the nightstand, and a M4 shotgun ready to go. Stay ready people, you just never know.

It’s a Ruger SP101, nothing fancy, and with a 2.25” barrel it’s a little snappy. It will always do it’s job, that’s what’s important.

Ole Ruger won't let ya down.

Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan with red dot. Never had a bear make it to me all the way yet Lol

ONESICK's picture

Got that long barrel?

Makwa's picture

The Alaskan is the short barrel. You can get the regular super redhawk with a 9.5" barrel. I also have a colt anaconda 44mag that has 8" barrel. That is the longest barrel I have, lot less kickback with that one. Lol
