Wierd Ass Pinning Spot

ad

I have a spot on my right thigh and I think I have it's exact location pinned down (no pun intended). What happens every time is I inject and if I get the spot I immediately get light headed to the point I think I might pass out and get a wave of horrible nausea to the point I have to go flop face down on my bed and wait for the wave to wash over. It's to the point now that I dread pinning that spot and have to work myself up to do it. I aspirate my needle and have no needle phobias or blood squeamishness. Has anyone else experienced this?

LOL Da fuq is Vaso Vagle Rusty? Are you using Latin at me?

"Vasovagal syncope" could very well be. I'm not ruling anything out. Not gonna jab there anymore regardless.

I would say the best advice in this situation is definitely to avoid pinning that spot altogether. No point in risking your overall health, since it is not easy to pinpoint what exactly is causing this reaction... my best guess would be that possibly you are hitting a nerve when you pin this area, but I am certainly not a licensed physician haha

Have you pinned this area w/ different compounds, or is it just when you pin a certain substance?

Nope. Other than Test I haven't injected myself with anything. I was wondering if anyone other than me has experienced this phenomenon or if it was typical. Not alarmed as I have moved on.

I can't relate bro as I don't experience any of what you are describing during injections. I would personally skip that specific spot if that is the case though. Plenty of other places to pin to be dealing with situations like that IMO. Or if you claim to have the exact location pinpointed, just move the "stick spot" an inch or two up, or down, or to left, right etc. Hope it works itself out though

I have moved the stick point for sure. I just wanted to know if this was at all typical. Overall I have moved away from my thighs completely. Curiosity was my motivator for this post.

Right on, I stay away from pinning thighs as much as possible. I will if needed, but prefer not to. So many available spots like glutes, pecs and delts and plenty of viable real estate in those 3 spots alone that with proper rotation, it's more than enough to not have to hit the same exact spot repeatedly week in and week out

Simple solution......Don't pin that spot

Might be hitting some lateral femoral nerves and need to just find a different spot (since you found it lol). Just another reason I hate pinning quads, vascular as hell.

I have purposely adjusted my tan lines to account for a 1cm above and below no go zone. I thought it could be a nerve but I've pinned in other spots and while I'm no doc I'm pretty positive it's been near a nerve but without the same sensations. I'm going to avoid the spot like the plague. The bitch of it is every other spot on the leg feels like fire going in. Fuck my right leg it's smaller than my left one and more of a pain in the ass altogether.

Sounds rough....as much as i wanna say i have a similar spot in the center of my buttcheeks i will not...
I felt that but not as bad when i hit what i assumed was a nerve but im no Dr Phil....i ease it in slow (no homo) and relax.
