Lysine
Sancho2000The doses are way important. Load up on Vit D, lads. I take 5000IU all year round and go up to 8000IU during the flu season. RDI are a joke on all the vits. Same with Vit C. No lower than 1000mg per day. Best taken in 2 doses of 500mg for better absorption.
Anytime I even start to think I'm getting sick, I start echinacea and golden seal root. It has always worked for me. I don't have time to be down sick...
NAC !!!! Precursor of glutathion. Number 1 for immune system. Especially when came the flu19 ...
If I feel the slightest bit of an illness coming on, I take 100 mg of zinc 2 days in a row. It has worked so far for me. Knock-on wood.
Zinc is a great mineral - I always take 50mg of Citrate per day. Tried 100mg but made me feel a bit sickly lol
Agreed, it is great but have to be careful because I believe it's toxic at high level over a sustained time frame. I take whatever is in my multivitamin daily and then the 100mg as soon as I start to feel under the weather
I’m going to start giving zinc to my kids- my oldest had pneumonia and the flu already
I find it brilliant to take when running gear and having shut down balls, pop one before bed and wake up feeling like 30 minutes of pornhub lol
Now that I didn't know. I'll have to give it a shot.
