I heard a few things about them but I personally have never been to one.
The slogan under the alarm fucking killed me though lol, what the hell is that?

You guys make some good pts, the kinda of gyms we like aren't everyones cup of tea, I just wasn't familiar with all the tactics they do to bring people in
Its literally the only chain thats not in my immediate neighborhood so I was kinda of shocked about the pizza and bagels lol
TricepatopsI like Planet fitness the girls at most locations are very nice. But for the price and what you all get to use any gym of theirs across the world you can't beat it. Hell there are some who buy the gym membership to tan since it is way cheaper than any other place. It isn't for someone who is a powerlifter as they have no free bench or other equipment but it isn't as bad as some make it out to be. 23 dollars a month can't beat that.
I understand why some may not like them but they must be doing something right. They saw an opportunity to capitalize on the more mainstream fitness market and did a good job I think. I’d estimate less than 5% of people that work out are bodybuilders and they don’t want to work out around people grunting and dropping weights. A gym for the not so serious but still want to work out a little. Smart business model if you ask me.
Exactly, I've always thought this too. All these Idiots that go into them filming themselves slamming huge deadlifts onto the floor then kicking up a fuss when they are asked to leave - not everyone wants to train around roidheads stinking out the place with protein farts and giving out Tren glares to any poor soul who happens to breathe the same air Lmao If you want to do those sort of things go to a powerlifting gym or proper bodybuilding gym where everyone is on the same wavelength.
I feel that brother. I have a few memberships. And I go to planet to tan. (Helps with my acne when running tren etc) and a few abb workouts .
But it's usually a in and out process. And go to my low key local gym for all my heavy stuff and all other training. Just the walk through to do what I need and get out... the shit is so comical.
I think it's the birthplace of Celsius energy water and (ils) imaginary lat syndrome.
I think I lose muscle just walking in there
Who are the main big gyms over there now then? When I was over in my teens it was Powerhouse Gym which then became 24hr Fitness at various locations.
We got crunch fitness , anytime, and around the clock. But I go to a old-school local gym most of all... never been to the ones previous mentioned
Lol. That’s exactly what I wanted to say but held back. Perfect.
