Real carbs
ad
I always make my own weight gainer shakes but I’m looking to change it up. You know how it gets with the same flavor over and over. Has anybody tried that 5% nutrition called real carbs?i wanted to add it to my shakes.

If you want to gain weight
Oats
Milk
Tablespoon or 2 of vanilla or chocolate or banana ice cream
Cinnamon
Honey or maple Syrup
Blend it
It’s not really gaining weight. It’s more of trying to change the flavors of eating the same thing over and over. I need a change of flavor.
Oh it's just you said you make your own weight gainer.
Nevermind my post then
If u want to gain weight you should go with this stuff called Apetamin.... that’s what I use .... look it up ....
I dont know about the store bought kind.
I like
1 c dry oats
8 oz milk
Hand full of blueberries
A squirt of honey
Sprinkle of cinnamon
A scoop of vanilla protien
And a few eggs.
Some times I sub the oats for banana bread.
I do something similar. Never used banana bread. That’s why I like vanilla or unflavored protein powder. You can change it. I never thought to put honey in it. I’m trying to add extra calories for mass. I never thought to add cinnamon either. I added instant coffee before and I liked it. I have been adding berries but want a new Flavor
I find there is always a bake sale at the church house somewhere or one of those girls ministry tables that sell the crosses and craft stuff to help with thier rehab.
Alot of them sell the banana bread. Little 7 or 8 inch loafes . Half of one of those in the blender with the rest.
I was going to try and blend a sweet potato with it. Just for the carbs. I will let you know how it goes.
Prolly be healthier than the banana bread
I started the honey (local) honey for general health and allergy stuff.
the cinnamon is for flavor. I have heard or read something it helps with inflammation.
Weather either of those claims are true I dont know.
I only tried the sweet potato pie version at one of my friend's. It was nothing to write home about and you could get better nutritional value out of powdered sweet potato which also cost less.
Wait. There is powdered sweet potato?
There was a brand in the country I live I haven't used it in a few years so I don't know if it's still around. I know bulkpowders also sells it but it's a bit closer to the price of real carbs.
I haven’t but I’m sure a lot of it is powdered sweet potato which you can buy itself which will work out a lot cheaper.
The 5% brands marketing makes me laugh and cringe at the same time but the lads I know who have used any of the range rate it.
