what would you do?

ad

Hello everyone, quick question

if you would be 8 weeks in of 16 weeks cycle, running test, npp, primo, var and gh and couldn’t be able to train for 3 weeks, what would you do? continue cycle? stop cycle? stop pinning for 3 weeks? or any other option

what would you do?

DfromPhilly's picture

Important question. Do you still PCT?

I just meant are you trt.

This is tough because 3 weeks is a really long time of nothing in a cycle. If you were TRT this would be a no brainer.

Since you PCT you have to look at these options:

  1. Push off the cycle. Wait til the 3 week lay-off is over and then cycle (this is probably your smartest move)

  2. Run shorts for 8 weeks and then PCT. the problem here is you’re not lifting during PCT which could hurt your chances of keeping your gains big time

  3. Ride it out with a 3 week layoff and waste 3 weeks of your cycle. Maybe cut the doses in half while not training and ramp up a week before you get back. I don’t love this.

I think the smartest thing to do here is to wait to start the cycle til the 3 weeks is over.

If you’re already in the cycle just stop it and PCT. get after it when you can train again.

what did you have surgery on ?

Think long term here dude I know you wanna hear '' just keep up the cycle and take it easy in the gym'', But dude just stop and heal up completely. If you jump back at just because you feel its a wasted cycle your not thinking clearly, you can easily injure your self far worse than you are now and boom you are laid up for 6 months looking at the ceiling .

just stop and pct .

End cycle or create a bridge.

I would cut my doses in half for three weeks rail i recovered...then go back to full dose and hit the gym!

I have to agree with you here mate.

I wouldn’t keep going take the time off to focus on recovering from the sugary. Then once your at 100% start back from the top.

Why stop pinning and shut your levels down, just to get your levels up again three weeks later? Thats a dumb idea and stresses your body without any benefit!

So there are just two options left.

Stopping your cycle after just 8 weeks, starting pct or cruising. Then imo your cycle was a waste of money.

So I'd use the remaining option and continue the cycle. Have a straight look at your nutrition during the three weeks without training...

sunamcaxa's picture

I’d continue on and do body weight exercises every day even if I couldn’t go to the gym. It would be a different story if it was a bulking cycle, but since you’re cutting just keep going and do HIIT body weight stuff.

Why do you have to stop lifting for 3 weeks?

sunamcaxa's picture

I was doing lean bulk

I had surgery, it’s getting much better I hope in few days Im back in gym

What was the surgery, if you don’t mind me asking. Did the doctor give you a timeline on how soon you could workout?

When I had nose surgery they told me no heavy lifting for 2 weeks, so after a week I did light exercise that wouldn’t spike my blood pressure and blow the clots.

I worked arms two days after my gallbladder surgery. I just went light with strict form.
I’m not saying you should do this but I did.
Only you know your body..

If this was an unforseen thing then that sucks.. if it were me and your running the primo for16 weeks I'd probably continue the cycle and keep my diet on point at least..if you stop then the primo would be wasted fire sure..but like it was said below 3 weeks with no training is also a waste..it's your call bro good luck

Three weeks off is a little too much ( in my opinion ).
If you foresee this situation it is useless to start the cycle.
Yours is a question with no sense.
Otherwise, do free body exercises in those three weeks:
Push-ups, pull ups, Bench dips, Mountain Climbers,
and keep your diet.
