+ 2 GYNO SURGERY

ad

My friends on here know my story with gyno sensitivity and we have discussed in previous forums. I am leaning more and more toward surgery to remove existing gyno. Whats your surgery story!? After effects? Worth the money? How much? Happy you got it done? Wish you didnt? Surgery gone bad? How long to recover after surgery? Was it covered by insurance? How soon started doing chest afterward? Im starting to save the money for it and i want real experience feedback please.

If you can afford it and the gyno bothers you then by all means have the surgery, You will be very happy you did. Most good docs will do it right (remove the gland/lipo) and you will have some nice sculpted pecs with no more puffy protruding sore nipples any longer. Also could reduce or eliminate the need of an AI or SERM.

Pumped_'s picture

I see so with the gland removed then there is nothing to be affected by aromatase?

The SERM part I can agree with. I don't know about you but I absolutely hate how I feel when my e2 is skyrocketed. I would continue the A.I. if your bloodwork shows it to be needed.

You won’t have any nipple related side effects, but the other effects would still be there.

How’s the gyno now that it’s been a while since your treatment?

Pumped_'s picture

Maybe about 50% lump gone right now and just on 1.25mg/wk of letro. I tried on cycle because it was only a trial run but when im finished im going with no aas and 2.5 for a good 3+ weeks straight and no taper maybe. Ill battle through the estro crash to save $5000

Happened to me naturally when I was 20. One nip just blew up, no AAS. Had the surgery, was covered by insurance. Recovered well, couldnt do any serious lifting for 8 weeks, at least no chest work.

Several cycles afterward and no issues.

If your insurance will cover it do it. Same day surgery, quick recovery and unlikely to recurrence in that nip anyway.

I'm sure notit has a botched gyno story to tell; based on his name ;-)

Well winding down and on last few days of letro taper. 2 weeks it will be total. Little cramps. Not big noticeable libido drop and left lump went down about 50%. Didnt reverse 100% as i had hoped but new most likely wouldnt happen. Nolvadex will prevent the rebound and will stay on 20mg after a week of 40mg. At least its not as bad now and until i get surgery i should be able to keep it at a minimum. May stay on letro 1.25mg/week and theb get bloodwork after a couple weeks. No point in waisting the 60 mile drive to get blood done right now just to tell me what i already know (i crashed my eatrogen after 2 weeks).

Did you come off all steroids and hormones completley before starting?

Your method was similar to what we use.

Crashed estrogen is defanite on letro blasting.

Let me know and ill get more in depth, theres a few tricks to it all.

No i was still on cycle, it was last minute decision to just try something after my man Pin Cushion gave me some suggestions so i didnt want to interrupt current cycle. Next run i will run dry or with masteron also as suggested. What do you say of running with masteron? Or you would run dry?

TheFlash85's picture

No.
You cannot be on any steroids or hormones what so ever and that means making sure long esters are completley cleared.
Verify by bloods.
Only then will the letro and nolva have the high sucess rate.
Its letro followed by nolva but theres an overlap in the middle.
Doses and timing are all in place for a reason.
There is no tapering of dosing with either.
Letro starts straight up @ 2.5mgs a day.

So what percent of your gyno did the letro diminish for you? 100%? What was breakdown when you did it?

I had marble sized lumps that were painful.
Lactation.
Black shit coming out if touched etc.
Completley anhialated it.
Non existant and never returned again.
It works for lumps only.
A bunch of us experimented all different ways and the letro and nolva had the best sucess rate.
About 6 other guys on here had same results.
Of course its harsh with sides but its better than surgery.
Letro is not as bad as ppl think, especially when system is cleared from other substances.

Yes i remember sir. I just wanted a test run but i will definetly run back and stay on longer. I got 90 pills, plenty. But damn the lethargic feeling og being crashed sucks but i guess its better than paying 5 grand

I definetly will and keep everyone up to date for round 2. You gave me the confidence to try the letro in the first place. Seems like all the guys who never tried it have the worse to say about it and the worse "i heard" war stories. Funny how that works. Lol

Ive had mine too long to reverse 100% but i would recommend the same same regimen. Its definetly worth the try.

+1 Letrozole is great stuff and I always keep it on hand Smile

Awesome to hear you're getting some forward movement! Gyno sucks.

Pumped_'s picture

Well end of day six. 2.5mg of letro. No drastic changes but no negative sides either. The solid lump had gone down a little but i swear today it seemed my nipples were puffier. Im going to stay on 2.5mg for a few more days.

Pumped_'s picture

So day 5 and full pill today. Libido is still ok but yesterday i think o started feeling some joint pain. Its not pronounced so may or may not be related. Gyno on left side down to marble size. Was double the size at the beginning. Will keep you who are interested up to date. Im willing to be the guinea pig so we can see if results are valid so no more "i heard" stories.

Keep it up man, I appreciate you keeping us in the loop! So many of these end up with no conclusion or word about how the process went.

Pumped_'s picture

Goal is at least knock the solid lump and then just maintain the nipple puffiness at least

I think flash had a protocol back in the day. I seem to remember masteron and letro being part of it could be wrong. Maybe try hitting him up. Good luck what ever you do.

Pumped_'s picture

I have heard of the letro and masteron plan also. I do have some coming and i have plenty letro.

If you get it done, be very clear and tell the doc you want as much of the glands removed as cosmetically possible man, this will make your chance of getting gyno flare ups again nearly impossible with or without ai

I still run ai for obvious reasons (high estro sides aren’t good)

Ozninjaguy's picture

Happy you got it done? Wish you didnt?

No and yes. Lots of threads here on this topic - do a search.

Pumped_'s picture

Yes i get what you are saying but when you dont have a computer and just using a phone its easier to ask your own specific questions rather than search and pick answers from 20 different posts. And you do all that reading, i like my own conversation and interact personally with Q&A. But anyway what went wrong with your surgery ninja?

In a promo × 1
Ozninjaguy's picture

As I have posted previously in a similar thread: I had adolescent gyno - puffy nipples and it bothered me. I would never take off my shirt in public - at the beach/swimming pool and so forth. What i didn't realise was that the gyno made my nipples very sensitive and that contributed greatly to sex - a girl licking/sucking my nipples was a huge turn on. I had the gyno op and the doc was an expert - can hardly see anything - but in the process of removing the fatty tissue, fine nerves are also damaged/removed - resulting in nipples that have no sensitivity what-so-ever. So for me that destroyed a pleasurable aspect of sex. While my chest looks 'masculine' now - I have lost an intrinsic part of sexual enjoyment. Hey - do what you want - your body and no doubt you will tell yourself that it's not important/wont happen to me...blah, blah. You really only know the personal consequences of any action once you take it, and then, all too often, it's too late. .

Pumped_'s picture

I heard from someone else that one side is now numb after surgery or goes numb time to time. Guess its a fragile area to be doing surgery

In a promo × 1
Ozninjaguy's picture

For me - at the time, the loss of sensation wasn't as important as the aesthetics, but as time went by, I realised that I had lost a part of sexual stimulation that I liked. Now that I'm an old fart, no-one gives a fuck how my chest looks - but I have still sacrificed an aspect of long term sexual pleasure for a short term gain. Every part of your body is a fragile area - nature has designed it to be as perfectly adapted to the environment as possible - it's just us, as humans, who think we can improve upon nature/evolution with drugs and the scalpel.

Pumped_'s picture

"Now that I'm an old fart, no-one gives a fuck how my chest looks"
I gave that thought also. Im a 43 year old married dad with a 1 year old, is it all that worth it if im not posing at the beach or doibg competition? As long as i can bang out my daughter's boyfriends i should be cool lol.

Ozninjaguy's picture

That's for you to decide - but my general view is that unless some aspect of your body is impacting your regular daily functioning then it is only about aesthetics, and all aesthetic ops have their downsides. Good luck with whatever you go with....also - you are 43 and your daughter is 1 - so at a minimum you are going to MAYBE have problems when you are 55. Keep training, stay buff and no toe-rag is going to give you attitude about a little gyno.

GreatSpear's picture

My fiancée had breast augmentation done and lost sensitivity in both her nipples temporarily, but one regained feeling after a year. The other still has no feeling after 3 years. Not a negative for either of us since neither of us enjoyed nipple play to begin with. So if nipples are important to you, I’d be careful!

Pumped_'s picture

They arent really. Like what im hearing about removing the gland. No chance of coming back after that

If you use the right doctor and your gyno bothers you then I think you will be very happy getting the surgery to resolve your problem.

johnmarshall12's picture

It depends on how bad it is, and how much it bothers you. It's a personal decision. Also it depends on whether you have a Doc you have confidence in and can trust.

Honeybandit's picture

If you going through the trouble of the surgery ,have the gland removed as well.

Livelife76's picture

Had it done, they remove most the gland but a small piece remains so your chest doesn’t look sunk in sort to speak around the nips.

Pumped_'s picture

That sucks. So there is that percentage to keep in mind. Thank you

Definitely following this. I have some mild gyno from my teens, no lumps but puffy nipples that always have some fluid in them. I’ve heard it costs $5-6000 and insurance won’t cover it, which is a bummer

Yes i heard also its about $5000 and insurance dont cover.
