+ 6 Infra-Red Saunas to combat salt retention and Steroid bloat
Hey kids,
As I sit here in my sauna sweating my salt off, I was thinking that this subject really hasn’t been covered here on eroids. At least not that I know of. Hell, maybe I have talked about it, and I’m just too lazy to run the search bar right now.
How many of you use a sauna to combat the bloat associated with salt retention and steroid use?
I do. I’m one of those guys who cares a little too much about how my face looks. I hate even a little bloat so I use the sauna, on top of good AI’s to combat water retention. I like to get in the sauna and sweat. It seems to me to get that little extra bit of salt out.
I’ll sit in the sauna, break a sweat and taste the st as it runs off my face. When the sweat doesn’t taste salty any more, I know I’ve got it out and my fave will go back to the complexion that I desire.
Try it out kids. Not only does it help with bloat, it has numerous Health benefits.
Any thoughts or questions?
All my love, no homo

I always go to sauna 2 times a week and I love that sweating in there I sweat a lot and after Im done I feel that I got new body I feel fresh, something like that :))
I’m really bad about chickmonk cheeks when bulking... I get so bloated it looks like I just got sting by a bee cause I get so damn swole and puffy...
Just swallow the donuts... chipmunk cheeks gone.
Side note: is chickmonk a typo or do you think those little rodents are female clergy?
Lol yes a typo. I love donuts!
jayiskjust grow a beard to cover it up ;}
Lol I do
As I have aged I have become more sodium sensitive which at times can effect my blood pressure in a negative way. I know some guys mention not watching or controlling sodium intake but it can be really detrimental to your general health taking in too much daily over time.
much easier to control if you dont eat processed foods... too many people over control and they can't figure out why they look like water bags ... in the end it is about what you eat and balance.
Same here.
I work outside and at this time of year sometimes I have to really make an effort to take in enough sodium but in the winter I do the Sauna everyday and it does wonder for the acne on my back. You hit the nail on the head with it doing wonders for your complexion too and it has other benefits as well.
I pay zero attention to salt intake, but I also don’t really seem to bloat as long ad e2 is in check. That said saunas are crazy good for you and I should do more of it.
I heard recently that Infared isn’t as good (joe Rogan maybe?). I’d have to do some actual digging on the subject to know I’m not making shit up about that tho, and didn’t just hear it from some random person somewhere and took it as gospel.
I go out of my way to add salt to my meals but, I don't eat processed foods and I need the salt it's damn hot out ...
a lot of these guys don't have a high enough salt intake to consider sweating it out. they go over board on salt restriction and then get a tiny bit from their food or what have you and then blow up because their bodies want to hold on to the salt. I can now see them dying from a salt deficiency after they decided to sweat it out in the sauna...
Lol. Are you saying that I gave bad advice? Haha
never... lol.
Or one could bust their ass out in the heat for the day and get paid whilst you sweat? lol.
Lol. Says the guy who typed that while sitting in his air conditioned truck whilst watching his guys bust their ass in the heat. :).
I can honestly say that has never been the case with me lol. Especially this year. Now that we are past a couple huge projects tho I am going to be spending less time on site and more time scoring more work for late fall.
I know you work your ass off brother. I just have to give you a little shit.
I honestly had to repopulate my crew over the last couple years. I succeeded in getting some young guys tho which was my goal. It didn't take me long to realize the reason my old crew was so great is because I lead them. So that is what I did. Some key differences this time tho. I am 25 years older so for running harder than everyone else I paid a cost in pain. But another key difference from 25 years ago is I am far more patient than I ever dreamed of back then. If you want young men to perform you have to show them what is possible with a hard working, fast moving team.
Yeah maybe in the winter. But I sweat way too much in the summer to ever think about a sauna. Ice tub maybe.
Haha..I concur pale...nature’s sauna can cure numerous ailments or better yet, detox from the night before!
That said I have now spent the last 45 minutes looking at IR saunas on Amazon lol
Pull the trigger bro!
Lol...and I may or may not be searching also...

Lotta benefits from sauna. I miss using one.
So if I use one of these saunas I can increase sodium.
I never go over 1500 mgs. Makes eating out tough on weekends but it does keep my bp in a normal range.
Alphamale500That's a great idea that I've never thought of or heard of before. I'm going to incorporate this practice into my upcoming cycles, thks.
But there's just one thing you said that I don't agree with. There's no such thing as caring too much about what your face looks like, lol JK!! Those that say there is are probably ugly as sin, lol!! Great post and technique bro!+
Good advice ty. I like the Sauna a lil before workouts as well to lose up and help prevent muscle pulls etc.
Do you find a certain amount of bloat with all compounds? Or is this exclusive to high test and nandrolone cycles? (Or dbol/adrol)
Test always gives me a little bloat. Especially if I’m not careful with my salt intake.
I also find that my Infrared (dry) Sauna continues the "afterburn" from working out. Going into the sauna right after a workout keeps my heartrate up for the duration of the sauna (usually about 30 to 45 minutes). Sort of like doing an extra half hour of cardio while sitting on my ass.
Exactly! Nothing like getting extra work in by doing nothing! Lol
I share that.
I often go to the sauna during or out of cycle for general well-being. It's a way to relax.
It eliminates stress, improves breathing and relaxes muscles.
A real enjoyment!!!
I do it the opposite way, I pee into my mouth and once my pee stops tasting salty I know I’m good.
Honestly I’ve never thought about it my gym has a sauna I’ll have to give it a try
