Clomid Question
ad
Without getting to much into depth i make the mistake of blasting and cruising throughout my 20’s. Long story short i made an endocrinologist appointment and was prescribed 50mg of clomid every other day for 2 months. After the 2 months my test levels were in the 300’s. I decided to go back to a 2nd endocrinologist and they placed me on clomid everyday for 30 days . After the 30 days how long should i wait to get blood work done ? I would like to make sure the clomid is not in my system anymore when i take the blood test to make sure my body is somewhat recovered

basskiller89Hey brother!!
When I take Nolvadex and Clomid for PCT I do 100mg for 2 weeks then 50mg for 2 weeks of Clomid. Nolvadex is 40/40/20/20 I belief. If you're worried about estrogen on cycle just take an AI. I actually avoided going to the doctor by taking a quarter tab of 2.5mg Letro. It's by far the cheapest and honestly I never got fucked up joints or anything dumb like that. Everyone is different just listen to your body. Hmu if you need help brother!!
Alphamale500Clomid very rarely fixes your HPTA for good, especially if you're talking about years down the road and your test is that low. It seems like that's what you're expecting. I was expecting the same thing when my endo first prescribed me Clomid.
I'm not trying to be a downer, but you should prepare yourself for the fact that you may have to take some kind of trt for the rest of your life.
Your test level may be elevated right after taking the Clomid or even a few months later, but once you stop taking it your test levels will likely go back down eventually. I wish you all the best though!
Doc should be directing you the right way.
But if I had to do this, I would do one test right after you finish with clomid and would do another one couple month later
HCG IMO will restore you a lot quicker. But if your under the care of a Doc it will be up to them. I'd go the HCG route though.
The endo wanted to try hcg after clomid .
Tell the endo he has the process fucking backwards.
fucking idiot ffs
jesus christ wtf is going on out there?!
Right...that's what I was thinking...lol
We will never get the answers we deserve LOL
;-P
Agreed....lol
nah you are thinking about it wrong
Clomid is taken to prove LH levels can rise high enough to sustain test production. Use and test this while on it (after duration x)
Once you prove LH is sufficient, switch off and (presuming your testicles have already been proven to work which from your limited post here they have no been tested yet) allow nature to do its thing.
If you have not proven the testes, then clomid therapy is the long way to finding out about what type of hypogonadism you have.
A thorough approach is this;
1. use hcg to prove the testes are responsive to gonadotropins (duration dependent on response)
2. use clomid to prove the hyp and the pit are working together to release LH to sufficient levels to stim the testes (duration dependent on response)
3. When response is correct, switch off and allow Darwin to work
4. Wait 6 weeks and test again to prove Darwin is your friend (or not)
5. Optimise endogenous test production
Proof is via bloods only while using therapy and after therapy drugs clear
simples
Call it PCT, call it restart therapy, whatever. It is the only truly legit approach
What type of dosage of hcg would you recommend?
As you already got to 300, let clomid clear (5xhalf life)
I would recommend 1500 iu's EOD for ~3 weeks, immediate blood test see where test is
If test production is proven to be in right range great, move on to clomid
If not, titrate HCG upwards and again test and so on
Gotta prove the balls work, first.
I sent you a friend request if you could please accept it
just seeing this now, done
RustyhookerThe dr should know that answer. Are you self prescribing?
Dam straight in would have just called my doctor
