Hey so real talk there’s not enough info to help this dude but.. overall there’s a few general rules of thumb to follow and questions to find the answers to prior to ordering to mitigate these kinds of issues.
1) Prior experience with the Src and their oils
2) Prior experience with a particular carrier oil and/or solvents
3) If unsure of questions 1-2 then scour the reviews and discussion pages of particular src and ask trusted members and Src about the carrier oils/solvents used
4) Always know higher MG/ML concentrations will almost always cause PIP issues due to the recipe needed to hold the oil in suspension. This means Super solvents like EO and Guaiacol are most likely used in the recipe
5) Super solvents have a higher likelihood for Allergic reactions
5) Higher concentrates have a higher likelihood of causing Test Flu symptoms. This is due to the hormone causing the body to fall out of homeostasis forcing the body’s natural defense mechanisms to activate and try and neutralize the “foreign” agent in the system. The same defense mechanisms the body uses to fight a cold or flu does the exact same thing to exogenous hormones when homeostasis is disturbed
6) Flu like sysmtpoms and swollen injection sites do not always equate “infection”. It very well could be an infection but more often than not it’s an allergic reaction becuase you didn’t answer questions 1-5 properly like an educated mature adult and yes you’re a stupid cunt for that. Look in the mirror and slap yourself as hard as you can!

I’ve never had severe PIP from using the wrong needle or from not getting the needle in deep enough into the muscle. I’ve never had flu like symptoms from using the wrong size needle.
Injecting should be kept simple. Do it after you shower and use plenty of alcohol when cleaning the injection site. Don’t make it more complicated than needed. Clean area and inject. Boom done. The odds of your issues are from not researching the Src and oils/solvents used in the recipe this causing some type of allergic reaction. Now if your leg starts turning colors and/or you end up diagnosed with a full scale infection then come back and feel free to call me the dumbfuck. Either way I’ll blame you for listening to a stranger on the interwebs and say serves you right!

Sounds like it could be a possible allergy to EO. Do you know if the gear has EO in it? Like rusty said tho, not enough information to really give an answer.
