I go with the flow, I often find myself listening to very hyped up music... (heavy metal, house music, dembow, rap) artists like el mayor, lud foe, slipknot...
These days I’m listening to a lot of avenged sevenfold. My best friend passed, and that was his workout music.
But no matter what station I set up, Pandora is convinced I like 5 finger death punch. I got into their first album a lot, but most their other stuff sounds too high school anthem with a hook.
I’ll go through moods though. It’s usually metal, then I might bust a pr to some Marvin Gaye or some blues.
Haven't heard of this band - thanks for the tip, just played some tracks from Youtube. Always looking for new workout music...going to download more. Cheers.
I've been doing a lot of avenged sevenfold myself lately. That and sevendust's latest album (kill the flaw). I don't love the older avenged sevenfold, but nightmare and everything after is the shit. That drummer can get me hype no matter how tired I am.
I didn’t realize sevendust had a new one. I always loved their stuff. That boy can sing. I’ll definitely have to check it out.
I hear you on the drum stuff. I could probably get by just hearing a drum track off of their stuff.
Yea dude avenged sevenfold's drummer is one of my favorites. He's no Danny Carey, but he's still a beast.
And I didn't know Sevendust put one out either. I googled them in amazon music and Kill the Flaw came up... I was like what the hell is that? Turned out to be my favorite album they've made. Evidently it's a couple years old now, but it's new to me lol
They were my shit. I used to bounce my daughter on my knee jamming their first album. Now she’s 15, and I’ll come in hearing her blasting Danzig or some old metal. I did something right with that one.
lol that's awesome. nice work. I don't know if you like rap, but I've also been listening to dave east the past couple years. Nas signed him. He's young but he's not like the other garbage out, dude sounds like he's straight from the 90's.
Ugh... lately it has been whatever lousy music that is playing at planet fitness..... it stinks severely, but I give that thousand yard stare & go on. It’s the only gym open around me right now at 4:30-5:00am. So I must endure it
Rob zombie, upon a burning body, minor threat, anthrax, rammstein, beg for life, hoods, agnostic front, ac dc, maiden, five victims four graves, cold as life, biohazard, lamb of god, etc etc.
Slipknot, Korn, Black Sabbath, lamb of God, stabbing westward, STP, led zeppelin, rage against the machine, or I pull up pandora and listen to death metal if its triceps thursdays.
