+ 11 Free Testo! Considering TRT at low/norm T Test? How about a 300 ng/dl increase in test levels????

ad

Fancy a 300 ng/dl increase in test levels?

How about doing it in a few weeks, and mostly naturally at that? No steroids, no needles for life, no forgetting meds and feeling crap as a result...

I have noticed a number of people of various ages who clearly have lower than average total test levels that seem to be seeking out TRT over the past while. For some who feel terrible TRT can of course seem like a magic pill... but it really is not. So, I thought I would share some thoughts on lifestyle changes that might be worthy of investigation in advance of pursuing a medical route.

It is fact that diet/lifestyle is one of the primary factors that influences our testosterone production and plasma t test levels. Therefore it is logical to reflect on our lifestyle to see if there are changes we could investigate and/or implement that might help. Here are two dietary routes and 1 medical option that are now proven to raise testosterone levels naturally, so to speak. They could result in you seeing a 300+ng/dl increase in your currently below optimal t test levels.... yep 300 ng/dl!

1. Herbs

Withania somnifera also known as Indian Ginseng is a perennial herb that grows across Asia, throughout the middle an far east. As is often typical of these things, it's use has been documented across age old texts. However, in recent times it has been studied in a clinical environment.

The results of consumption of 300 mg of ashwagandha root extract twice daily, coupled with resistance training for 8 weeks (versus a placebo group) in 18-50 year olds are:
Almost double the strength increase over a placebo group (26kg versus 46kg)
Arm/bicep measurement increase 5.3cm versus 8.5cm
Total Testosteone increase of 18ng/dl versus the ashwagandha induced t testosterone increase of 96.2 ng/dl)!!!

2. Ketogenic Diet

Jacob Wilson and his crew compared the western diet to the ketogenic diet using isonitrogenous and isocaloric diets (same level of calories and same amount of protein) across 11 weeks in college students participating in weight training. The results are interesting...
As you can imagine, Lean Mass went up with the KD and WD, however lean mass kept increasing beyond week 10 in the KD group
Fat mass dropped more in the KD to -3.6kg
Strength and endurance increased the same across both the KD and WD
Most importantly, T test decreased by -36ng/dl in the WD group BUT increased by 118ng/dl in the KD group

4. Sildenafil Treatment

This is going to be controversial for some poor naysaying souls. So rather than discuss it, i will simply link to 2 studies proving efficacy. One study can help design an optimal dose and schedule for treatment (circa 30 days)

5. Oleuropein Food Supplementation

Oleuropein, a compound that is naturally found in olive oil has been shown to improve protein synthesis and has been show to massively increase serum testosterone levels in rats. The health benefits of diets that contain Oleuropein have been known for years (mediterranean diet). However, recently enough, researchers have isolated Oleuropein and shown it to increase testosterone in rats fed a very high protein diet by 250%. So, anything with proven ability for lypolisis, improved nitrogen retention/protein synthesis and a significant bump in testosterone is perhaps needs immediate consideration for both PCT and post-PCT therapies.

Something different- Free testosterone booster Tongkat Ali

Tongkat Ali, short and sweet, will boost free testosterone and liberate it from SHBG. As free testosterone is where the rubber meets the road, this should be a staple for EVERYONE, but especially those with low testosterone, high shbg, or are low-normal. It should be used on-cycle, post-cycle, and off cycle.

Look, let's be honest... these things might not help everybody. For example... if you have a complete primary failure then its off to the TRT Shop with you. However... low-normal people, ypu need to sit up and pay attention, because if there is a chance, isn't it better to try this (or similar avenues) rather than pursue TRT for life? These are merely 2 of the many things we could all look at to help improve test levels naturally, and indirectly to vastly improve our quality of life. It doesn't mean they are for everyone, doesnt mean they are permanent choices (unlike lifelong TRT) nor does it mean they are the only options. But, they are worthy of investigation given that they are proven, natural and both universally accessible and legal.

Yeah thats Wilson and his crew. Its his profile but there's a big team behind him. They are crushing it at his ASPI center, they are a powerhouse

Bro this is good material but this is borderline copy and paste imo. Do you have the links to prove those numbers are real? I’m not saying they’re inaccurate because honestly I don’t know. I couldn’t decipher any of that based on how you composed the article. Maybe include all of the links for those trials and to the original article?

If your willing to read through everything in that thread giardap and I have an exchange where lots of solid information is shared.

giardap's picture

I have to admit, I am confused by your post. So, let me ask you some questions...

What exactly is it that you are saying is copied and pasted, borderline or otherwise? (Be very specific please because that is a very strange thing to say, particularly considering the references within the text, what i have said about the post below, and also considering how citations are typically generated and put into posts.)

What exactly in the codex manuscript is it that you need decyphered?

Are you unable to follow the references?

Carlos Danger's picture

Just an FYI after 3wks I just now saw your comment.
For when you get off your ban:
Those links are new and were not a part of the original article when you posted this. You gave no links in the references other than what was copied and pasted. The rules clearly state that you should post links. Just calling you out for no links. Did that offend you that I don’t trust at face value? I don’t trust anyone on this website after all the years of being here.
No I don’t need anything deciphered from you except next time post links. I’m good with my TRT. I have no need for magic herbs. You remind me of Zewi though. Splitting image

Carlos i didnt post those links for you, i posted them for others who were nice and curious to read the studies.
Listen fella, you are more intelligent than this and experiemced enough to know the difference between abstract surfing / forums articles and clinical trials/studies and/or academice-type journals. You know full well that not all journal publications are available online in their entirety and therefore links cannot be provided and must be referenced. I had to dig up a pre-(online) publication draft, hosted online for one of the write ups. Therefore correct referencing certainly does suffice.

Ill leave it at that, nuff said

Your home life must be very empty and sad. When was the last time you went a day without jumping on Eroids. I bet you’re on here at least 10-20 different times a day. Go get some pussy bro. Kiss a girl or maybe you like boys. Either way take enjoy life without eroids for a week or two or a month. You’ll realize your life won’t end and you’re not as lonely as you thought without eroids. It will always be here no need to F5 all day man.

LoL

Good one

XmadXscientist's picture

Are those references from paper or online? Should I google search to find them?

giardap's picture

Both/either
The herb is new to me but Wilson has several of these keto papers

XmadXscientist's picture

Ok I'm going to look into this more, never heard of this herb before. I know about the keto diet because of our discussion previously, but I couldn't remember if we were looking at athelitic individuals or just those who were overweight and untrained.

Ashwaganda root is a very common supplement actually. You should find a lot about it. I have been taking it for a few years on the advice of one of my doctors (she's a naturopath md). I've found it really helpful for adrenal burnout issues. Basically, I drank so much coffee for so long I couldn't function without caffeine of some type. When I started taking a high quality adrenal support complex with ashwaganda, I didn't even need coffee at all on the second day. I just woke up energetic. It may not work the same for everyone, but it works great for me. If I don't take it for a month or so I find myself hovering at the coffee maker again.

You can find adrenal support supplements in the health food store. You may see them labeled as "adaptogens", which just means something that helps the adrenal gland. The one I found that I like the best is actually in the women's health section. It's not overly expensive to experiment with.

Thanks for sharing! I have a coffee addiction myself so I might try this out.

You should do a write up on your experience fella.
I am currently investigating whether I have an adrenal or thyroid issue, could be either/both/neither or just phychological or even sleep related, but I believe having done an eye test I have a touch of adrenal fatigue.
So... this makes that supp all the more interesting

Do a write up man. Ppl need to learn more about the other systems in the body that our way of life can affect.

Thanks for sharing, +

Got you. Well the keto study only focuses on younger men who train whereas the other is a much wider group in terms of age / experience.

I am always hesitant to believe the so called natural solutions but having read the herb study, I have to say i am somewhat gobsmacked by the results myself

I can post you a full text link of you like?

That would be awesome! I'm kind of lazy.

Thanks!

giardap's picture

Thanks pal, but not my work bro, not at all really, Im paraphrasing the lads referenced
Although, I have personally gotten a +100 bump in test from keto myself a few times

I just read about the Indian Ginseng today and thought I would put it together with Wilson's older work on Keto
Everone knows Im a Wilson dickrider (no homo!) but this stuff might help some who could take a bit of a different path. I know I'll be ordering some of this herb myself, for sure.
Hopefully it helps someone
