Research chemical labs and pain medicine

ad

I hope I posted this on the right section. Please be gentle.

I was on the right path for five years and had gained a solid 35 pounds over those years. I had went from 165 to holding in 195 while cruising.
I was so happy with my body and life!

While pressure washing one day in my business, I herniated my L5 S1 after I had injured it originally 20 years ago. It was excruciating pain and required a double laminectomy discectomy 9 months later. I had the surgery on April 24th of this year. The surgery was successful as it relief pressure off my left side of nerve but surgeon found scar tissue that had encased 12 major nerves. An MRI five weeks after surgery indicated that I had two other herniated disc and degenerative disc disease. I have not lifted now and almost a year and I'm in constant daily pain. With the new government restrictions on pain medicine I'm trying to find other alternatives.

Does research Labs offer anything in form of pain relief?

This is now a chronic issue and that will not being seen pain relief for a long time. Sucks because at least have one more surgery but I'm going to do everything I can to get all of this fixed and get back in the gym ASAP. Just any information would be gratefully appreciated as well as any suggestions. Just remember me in your prayers and thank you all!

I am sorry to hear about your accident.

As far as "research companies" are concerned , I would have to agree with the thread, no research company is going to cross the line in serious pain medication. That would draw much unneeded attention to them.
If you are looking for options I would simply research , research, research.

If you are in constant pain and are already under a doctors supervision I would not recommend going outside of that circle to obtain a pain medication.

I would also agree with previous thread to investigate CBD extracts. This is nonpsychoactive isolated chemical from the cannabis plant that has show significant reduction in seizures, spasms, and overall pain relief. It is , of course, all natural and great homeopathic compound.

Another item I would suggest to help alleviate back and neck pain is an inversion table. I cannot stress enough just how beneficial daily inversion can be to alleviate and eliminate back and neck pain.

I hope this helps. Good Luck

Steroids and pain meds are like pissing in a corner vs pissing on the President's face as far as interest from law enforcement goes.

Research labs who have the slightest interest in avoiding heat aren't going to touch that stuff.

Like the others have said, ask your doc for non-opiate options. You may have to try several, as people respond differently to drugs. Good luck with your pain and recovery.

Have you tried CBD's? You can get just the cbd's and not the thc (if you prefer). It's great for pain and not addictive. Sure worth a try, especially if you can avoid or dramatically reduce your opioid intake.

If you have the injuries you say and you are in that much pain your dr will make you comfortable. Chronic pain is treatable. And in my considerable experience in this dept he will point you to the most suitable solution for yourself but if he is seeing a pattern of drug seeking behavior you will not be getting opiates but there are some relatively good non opiate pain relievers but those of us who have used opiates regularly get used to a certain level of relief and dont accept anything but.
I have a feeling there is more to this but I will keep my thoughts to myself. Regardless, I hope things get better for your back. Good luck

Butt to answer your question no I've never seen a "research labs" that offer pain management. That would surly get them in some deep shit

Like any company would openly sell oxycodone under the condition that you'll only use it for research, cross your heart and hope to die. Lol no one is that stupid

Yeah cough cough my uhm rats yeah that's it my rats are undergoing therapy to see if oxysensored is effective against the side effects of smashing them with a hammer.

A doctor will not sit there and say "no you aren't" when you say you're in excruciating pain.

If you have legitimate injuries why doesn't your doctor have you seeing a pain management specialist.
What are the government guidelines you talk about? If you have real pain there are no laws against a doctor prescribing you pain medication. Doctors definitely aren't handing out pain medication like they used to but if its truly needed its given.
Are you addicted to pain meds and they just took you off?

I just read your post i was addicted to pain meds myself for almost 8yrs. I have a feeling that what happened to me is going on here. My doctor pulled my meds and then I was lost until I cleaned up almost 8yrs clean.

Yeah when the doc cut me off I just went to the doc at the corner... if you get my drift. Had to do a little vacation at that one hotel in the gated community before I could get away from it.

I don't regret the past nor do I wish to shut the door on it. All of it got me to where I am today. I am in a good place were I am able to enjoy and appreciate life and loved ones. We all make mistakes. All have fallen short. It's how you get back up and try again that defines your character.....
