-1 Cutting Body Fat: Method to the Madness

ad

so I started doing the Keto diet. I honestly thought it was a unrealistically for me. but for me, its working after 2 or 3 weeks. I realized that i am VERY sensitive to carbohydrates. I am currently running test 500mgs mast 500mgs and eq 500mgs with proviron 50mg/d, nolva 20mg/d and 4iu of genevatropin every day

im 6'1 200lbs

i only do about 30mins of fasted cardio in the morning and only doing weights every other day. i am seeing noticeable reduction in my gut. im getting more vascular and i dont find myself having to have to do SO much cardio in comparison to my previous cycles. has anyone else experienced this as well? ive tried many diets and the low carb diet is the only thing thats given me fast results

does genetics play into how your body processes carbohydrates? i always made the mistake of carb loading before and after the gym. yes my energy is lower however i dont get the bloated look as i used. it would discourage me sometimes because i would train and eat hard but still look bloated.

when i bulk should i add carbs back in or do i stay low carb? im going to bulk once i can get as low as i can in body fat

Try HIIT for cardio if you like, wingates or sprinting etc... 10 mins a week will do you! Also better for fat loss and insulin sensitivity.
Weights are also hiigh intensity which compliment, so i'd go full time rather than part time.

genetics
Sure, but its mostly about insulin sensitivity

feel weaker
That changes when you adapt fully to fat, then you can/should reassess how many carbs you can process during workouts and fuel accordingly whilst remaining on keto if that is your goal, which i dont necessarily think it is. (this is not CKD but intelligently tailoring keto to YOU as you adapt).
Or, you could go the traditional route which is highly efficient, but with health tradeoff's as you mention.

I do a hybrid myself, which isn't keto per se and loses fat adaption over time so requires reset periods, but it is still better for insulin sensitivty than traditional. Still when I lose fat adaption, I wake up with no bloating and when I go to bed Im bloated from carbs! Its a mutha fcuker!

Of course genetics play a part in how your body processes carbohydrates.

Also remember that all carbohydrates are not created equal and subsequently will be processed differently. You must find what carbohydrates work for you what do not.

Myself, the older I became the more my body had difficulty processes grains, breads, and processed sugars. The same amount of carbs derived from these sources would bloat me tremendously as opposed to other sources. Bodybuilding is about finding what works for you.

do you recommend i eat more fruits if i use carbs or a mix of whole grains and fruits, my work outs definitely feel weaker from lack of carbs but i just hate being bloated and just wanna be really lean for once. been always a guy with chub most of my life. sucks

You should "feel" weaker as that is the point. You have to get your body to utilize the stored fat as energy. Which it does not want to do. Again, you have to find what works for you. If being bloated is a concern. Try utilizing fruits like pineapple, papaya, and mango. Those all really aid in digestive health along with the added vitamins and fiber.

thank you man thats really helpful. im not feeling as weak anymore. and i added eq and masteron to my cycle. i dont crave food while on a ketosis diet. but it really is working just the lack of energy does suck. i really appreciate your help i will incorporate those fruits in my diet and see how my bloat is and if its not bad i know i can eat simple sugars

thanks so much

clearly arimidex is better. ok im switching. i have arimidex on hand as well. thanks for the advice fellas

no i havent run bloods

by carb cycling what do you think is best? i train HIIT EOD for weights. i agree my weight training isnt as good as if i add carbs. should i bump up to 200grams on my weight days and drop carbs low as possible on days i am just doing cardio. the low carb thing seems to be the only thing that keeps me feeling lean all the time

Try lifting every third day,and do standard cardio in the morning and do your HIIT training later in the day.Keep your carbs low on cardio days and "re-feed" on the weight training days. This should burn fat well plus give you plenty of rest for recovery, not that you need it with a half a gram of test and 4iu a week.I followed this and lost a lot of weight very quickly.

my rest is solid thanks to the juice for sure. i have sleep apnea so i wear my mask as well and that lets me get some decent rest. thanks a lot man appreciate it. i will do that.

With all that gear and no carbs I would feel lke passing out. Thats too much and it wants to be fed
At least in my body it does. We're all different though.
Your not running an ai? Have you done bloods? is the mast and proviron enough? If so why the nolva

With that amount of gear you should be losing the gut even eating a good amount of carbs.I too am wondering why the SERM?I would save that for pct.
